After watching X men First Class,(finally) It remember me of the days of my childhood watching the x men on TV and loving them.And then I wondered:"who is REALLY my favorite x men"; are
Night-crawler
Wolverine
spyke (even though I don't remember him well but his powers are so cool)
Gambit
Beast

Honorable mentions:
Prof. X
Magneto (Because both are sooo bad ass in First class)
and Storm (great powers,but never liked the character that much..)

The reasons I love them are mostly for nostalgia and coolness,and the powers.Also,I hate the First class beast,the 90s one is way better!

Magneto. I love a villian you can sympathize with. That and his powers grant him so musch versatility. Hes also just a badass in general. (Argintina scene from First Class anyone? )

Honestly, I would have to go with Nightcrawler.

I just love both his character (the backstory and the personality) and his powers make him badass on a level that is hard to comprehend.

To kill him you would literally have to destroy every place he has ever been to in a way that fundamentally changes the landscape, all the while avoiding the fact that he could in all likelihood teleport a fucking car on your head.

I used to really like Wolverine... but now I'm ambivalent towards him.

Bishop had one of the funkiest abilities, but he's rather formulaic as a character, even if he's from the future.

Of the original five... not a big fan of any of them. However, I find myself drawn to Rogue... I wonder why...

No, but I'm assuming that they've handicapped him in some retarded way like a line of sight teleport only.

No. During a fight the creature was able to figure out where he was teleporting to, and stuck its arm out, essentially impaling him.

Also in Ultimate universe he drowned when Magneto flipped the Earth's poles.
