Wait...What?He stuck his arm out and impaled him self because he teleported?Sorry,I havent read the comics as much as I've watched the cartoon. So,what affect does this have on him? Please answer,Im damn curious!
NightCrawler was exhausted from porting both rogue and Hope several miles at a time, Bastion intercepted them. Rogue fought him with a bunch of powers she'd taken but it wasn't enough, Bastion was going to kill hope, night crawler ported to Hope, Bastion intercepted him and put an arm through his chest. Nighcrawler then made one last port with Hope to hundreds of miles away on utopia, while taking Bastion's arm with them. This shut him down long enough for Rogue to escape as well. Nighcrawler died in Hope's arms.

I don't think it was a bad death necessarily. What was terrible was the funeral issue afterwards, it felt too rushed and at an inappropriate time, as they were under imminent attack and had others who were KIA or missing.

i only really follow the Ultimate Comics, and on those grounds i'd say Kitty Pryde
she's been developed alot as a character on there.

alos, ult. wolverine was a lot more fun. the damage he used to take would take him alot longer to recover from than ol' mainstream wolverine; who after being being burnt to a crisp by nitcro in civil war, shakes it off in seconds

The Beast, Kelsey Grammer FTW. (Nicholas Hoults good as well)

Also Sabertooth. Only good thing about Xmen Origins: Wolverine.

Is this topic really gonna get any other answers except for Wolverine and Gambit?A little pointless thread there, man.
I like Cyclops. He's the only one who really seems to think like an actual responsible human being most of the time.
glad I am not the only one who thinks this way everyone always gives me a strange look what I say that he is coool

I've always liked Shadowcat from back when I watched the animated series. A nod also has to be given to Rouge and Jubilee for having a great charecter and a cool power respecitively.

Honourable metion goes to Prof. X (as always) and Beast (who doesn't love that big ol' ball of blue fur?) and also the young mystique from X-Men: First Class. She was awesome.

After watching X men First Class,(finally) It remember me of the days of my childhood watching the x men on TV and loving them. And then I wondered:"who is REALLY my favorite x men"; are
Night-crawler
Wolverine
spyke (even though I don't remember him well but his powers are so cool)
Gambit
Beast

Honorable mentions:
Prof. X
Magneto (Because both are sooo bad ass in First class)
and Storm (great powers, but never liked the character that much..)

The reasons I love them are mostly for nostalgia and coolness, and the powers. Also,I hate the First class beast, the 90s one is way better!
P.S. Cyclops Is a jerk :)
Are you sure you were alive when those cartoons came out?

Never read the comics, huh?

Colossus. I never really realized it until he died and even though it was a bad story, I cared. I cared a lot.

For the record I think Gambit and Deadpool are both fucking awful characters.

The problem with Gambit is his character progression keeps being reversed when a new writer gets their hands on him and reverts him back to a stereotype.

Deadpool under Joe Kelly and Fabian Niceza was quite enjoyable because it had character developement and plot progression, as well as zany over the top stuff. Nowaday they just churn out shallow books focusing on the humour aspect of his character. I've always found the Cable and Deadpool combination great, because it grounded both of those characters, gave some humour to Cable who can be very dry to read and gave a framework for Deadpool to work in.

But yeah I can't stand most of the Deadpool stuff these days.
