Why are there suddenly so many My Little Pony Avatars?

Aha! I wondered how long before I started seeing ponytars on here. I cought a couple today and was like, "OK, there must be a thread by now." And here it is! And with that, the time has come to join the herd. Spike fans represent!

... I was getting pretty tired of that cartoon Little Sister anyhow.

EDIT: Since this is a video game site, I think I'll go ahead and be the one to draw the inevitable parallel to Robot Unicorn Attack. Personally, I never saw the appeal of the game as a game (never was a fan of auto-scrolling platformers), but I could see why the camp factor made it so popular. It tortures that part of the male brain that tells you that you should not be doing that, but instead of begging for mercy it asks for more because it hurts so good. And this show is like that, except with self-aware humor, interesting characters, and stick-in-your-head musical numbers instead of platform hell.

Because it's good and it kicks the shit out of Captain Planet.

I ... kinda want to see the ponies kicking Captain Planet now.

I'm not sure what to make of this. I've seen it, but there are a lot of shows at least 20% cooler than this one. I could find a better one in ten seconds flat.

haha, I just wasted a but load of time, I saw some Penny Arcade strips in google img search about MLP:FiM and then I went back through all their comics going back a year. Then I realized people just photoshoped the strips XD GAH the pony mania has gotten me

The show was created by Lauren Faust (Creator of Powerpuff Girls and co-creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). It doesn't get any more amazing than that.

Either you're a crafty troll or you seriously thought that was a legit reason. Either way responding to you is entirely the wrong thing to do.
