Having a degree in history I can tell you humanity is just going through the motions; war, political and social unrest are nothing new and all the while people claim to have lost faith in humanity. As of late its usually just children expressing their dismay because someone drank all the orange juice.

Being an Aussie myself I don't believe Australians are stupid. Instead I think we are god's gift to humanity but that's another subject. No I guessed he was an Australian because only us Australians bring their hatred of the Gillard government to these forums.

My God we've cracked it. People don't have an irrational hatred of humanity. It is in fact a rational hatred of government! Humanity has plenty of common sense left in it.

Off topic: This is why us Australians have a rational hatred of our government. Mind you this is just one of the things (of many). The Australian Government is introducing a carbon tax that does not tax but instead taxes public transport. That there is a perfect reason to lose all faith in government.
