Too many people on these forums focus in on the bad and then decry how crappy everything is in a vain attempt to appear wise and wordly, in truth they're just adolescents gripped by angst and will grow out of it in a few years, all that cynicism is bad for the soul.

Because that's the way the news works...

I'm not losing my faith in humanity because I know way down deep inside that there's still hope for us to become better. We survived the Dark Ages, we have internet pornography and said internet with which we have access to more knowledge than God. Plus our art, literature and music are pretty much a gigantic monument to our awesomness and willingness to make good things better.

But there are always those moments that make me shake my head at humanity and ask: ''Why?''

I have not lost faith in humanity. I hate how one serial killer pops up. So does like 3 lost faith in humanity threads. What about natural disasters like floods etc where millions donate and pitch in the help get the people on their feet.

You know, I'm gonna make this simple.

I'm not loosing faith, hope, trust, etc, etc, in humanity because in what position am I or anyone else in to truly judge, hate, and be disgusted millions, no wait, billions of people? I have no real reason to automatically love and see good in everyone on the planet, but I have even less reason to despise and constantly remind myself of their faults. I can't see what's going on in the world at every moment, and I can't let random snippets of gloom, doom, and stupidity, nor joy, hope, and intelligence, sway my opinion either. I will simply react to that moment and judge those selective few. Until I have the ability to see what's going on at every moment across the planet for more than a day, I won't say jack shit about humanity.
