okay then what is the most polished mmo in your opinionDulcinea said:I don't see your point. A lot of people like WoW. a game from 7 years ago that no one plays anymore well like you said its your opinionDulcinea said:That would be Everquest 2.Tim_Buoy said:okay then what is the most polished mmo in your opinion
Well, the majority of MMO players wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't the most polished. Fairly simple reasoning to follow there...Dulcinea said:I don't see your point. A lot of people like WoW. As i said DDO is not you average MMO and it's intensivelly focusing...well dungeon crawling. Beside the obvious D6D features collision detection is a must to survive.Kalezian said:Darkfall has collision detection, then again, Darkfall uses it to be a griefer tool.
[small]seriously, not once did I ever see a phalanx of heavily armored troops in formation to protect the mages/archers, but I did see several people intentially blocking off city entrances and the starter shops.[/small]
Not really sure what you think I meant since DDO is the only MMO I play. Still that might work in starting dungeons but even starting with marketplace dungeons you really need to use all the tricks you can to survive(of course I'm talking elite and epic dif since the other can be soloed to a certain extent).Lt. (I liked the controls....becomes hilarious fun at lower levels w/ 3 melee steamrolling over the dungeons for free stuff :] )
I'm allowed to be hypocritical. Doesn't mean it makes it right. Stop aiming at that.Dulcinea said:Because talking in a forum is a profession?Thyunda said:it's hilariously unprofessional.Because that is 'professional'? Irony is hilarious.Thyunda said:makes me want to hurt you.
OT: I don't believe it is the industry standard. You're welcome to your opinion, however.
Its not trolling if I'm pointing out a fact.Hobo Steve said:And another troll enters the ring...Kroxile said:fanboy detected.Hobo Steve said:No no, I am sorry. Clearly you are one of those people who are obviously unable to tell the difference between opinion and fact so require every single post to have a giant warning label "THIS IS A FUCKING OPINION" just to help you out.Dulcinea said:*snip*
You really should add that to the "whats wrong with you" thread because that aint normal.
But just to help you out since you clearly need it. The part about WoW being the industry standard is a fact. Thats right. Not an opinion, a straight up fact.
So happy I could clarify things for you.
Hey, troll, read the thread. Theres like 5+ pages dedicated to a large number of people pointing out the facts behind why WoW is the industry standard.
Because, you ignorant buffoon, this is not an opinion. It's a blatant fact. This is called 'education', child. I do the same thing when a spiritualist tells me that happy thoughts will heal my illness.Dulcinea said:It doesn't matter how many times you say it, I'm not going to agree. Lots of people think it's polished. So? A subjective opinion being popular doesn't suddenly make it objective truth.SL33TBL1ND said:Well, the majority of MMO players wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't the most polished. Fairly simple reasoning to follow there...
Whatever you say, bro. I've got better things to do than sit around checking my escapist inbox for an internet debate. So you go on ahead and keep being awesome.Hobo Steve said:Then you are making a baseless assumption which is only a wee bit better than trolling.Kroxile said:Its not trolling if I'm pointing out a fact.
I happen to agree with you on your points, but your "my way or the highway. deal with it." stance is so fanboyish its aggravating.
I do not play WoW. I am not a fan at all thus am unable to be a fanboy. But when stating a cold, hard fact there is no other option, there is no other way to look at it. And he does need to deal with it since he is one of those who likes to attack people for, in his mind, stating their opinions as facts.
People like that need to be educated and given no room to move so they have to accept the fact.
Whether you're trolling or just trying to assert your 'intellectual superiority', please stop it. You're just making a fool of yourself (add random joke about HURR DIS IS FACT NOT OPINION HURR)Dulcinea said:Snip
A subjective opinion of something being popular? 10 million subscribers is not subjective. That shows, without doubt that it is a very popular game, and would not be popular if it wasn't good. You don't have to like the game, but when that many people agree, it's hard to argue against them without sounding like an idiot.Dulcinea said:It doesn't matter how many times you say it, I'm not going to agree. Just stop, you're making yourself look like an idiot and you've been keeping at that steadily for all seven pages of this topic.Dulcinea said:It doesn't matter how many times you say it, I'm not going to agree. Now you're just being a proper c***.Dulcinea said:The sky is actually transparent.Hobo Steve said:Don't gotta be a "fanboy" of the colour blue to point out thats the colour of the damn sky.
Most mmos have the same mechanics that wow has, i was playing a similar mmo even before wow showed up, if anything wow copied other popular mmos, not that i care, i tried wow for a few days, the cartoony graphics and the same starter quests like anywhere else where you had to hunt wolves didn't appeal to me, nut it seems that it somehow became the biggest thing ever, perhaps because it was made by blizzard.Hobo Steve said:Because it was a poorer WoW clone.
You do not beat WoW at its own game.
