Yeah, our money problems are that our problems trying to give hand outs to every other nation to spread wealth while at the same time, making consumer goods that target our own nation yet all the jobs that would allow them to be bought are gone.

Mostly it gives the coward countries not brave enough to give a bit of food or money someone to cry about cause it makes them look bad....

I don't really hate America, I just dislike the whole "World Police" idea. The exceptionalist idea, that America has the right to declare war on whoever it wants for whatever reason it wants as long as it's in the interests of world peace.

200 years of almost constant wars shouldn't exactly entitle you to the title of "Protector of the peace".

If anything, somewhat like Sweden or The Netherlands should get it, they're far more peaceful.

Because there are a few idiots like this, and no other country in the world could possibly have anything corrupt in it. Well considering I am an American I can provide some insight on this. The middle class and majority of the upper class are hard working stand up individuals just trying to live their lives. The lower class is very uneducated in relation to how developed we are as a country. Any generalizations made about Americans come from misinterpretations, lack of knowledge, or a bad run in with some messed up individuals. Now while the middle class is by far the most normal and level headed of the three groups they tend to be the forgotten ones. They are a large reason why the US is so successful, however, they are never shown for what they are. The lower class is full of stereotypical representations of ignorance and bigotry. The upper class, while the vast majority are stand up individuals there are some that are world class pricks and are only there to screw everyone over. This comes from an individual with over 50 members in his extended family spanning all classes and regions. I am by no means an expert but I have a very broad view of the spectrum.

TL;DR

People don't see the US middle class. They see the stereotypes of the lower class and the greed of a few big time upper class members and generalize about them.
