Why do we hate Justin Beiber?

I suppose the major reason would be that his popularity is indirectly proportional to his contribution/talent/hard-work for the industry. Also the haters hate his music. Plus he hasn't heard of Germany (the accuracy of this fact remains a mystery but if true...wow)..just wow!

He just has a niche fanbase and it turns out that its a very, very vocal fanbase.

I don't hate him , but I don't appreciate his music. I mean, the kid has made more albums and money than I have. I don't know, it's like throwing money at him because he's popular.

I just cant stand his talk about loving someone when he is far too young to know anything about love. Also, the sheer craziness of his fans is awful. That isn't really his fault but it does piss me off.

Actually, we all love Justin. All of us. That's why we continue to make threads about him, enhancing his public profile and exposure. There simply is no other logical explanation.

I could make a long list of why I hate him but the big thing is how arrogant he is. When he was here in Australia and performing on Sunrise he lost his shit when someone simply touched him and he believes that he is this generations Kurt Cobain. There are few celebrities that I actually hate rather than dislike but he is one of them.

Justin's supposed comment regard Kurt Cobain has never actually been attributed to a source, and if it was said, was most likely in jest. I remember years ago when Shirley Manson did an entire interview in jest, just ranting sexual jokes the whole way through and then she turned up on the front page of a music magazine a month later with everything that she'd said jokingly being correctly quoted - but without the correct context of what was actually a tongue-in-cheek interview, therefore making it look like she was really into things like having a guy pee in her belly button.

He probably did go off at the camera crew though, and for someone surrounded by cameras every minute of every waking hour, who can blame him? Let's be honest, it would give anyone the shits after a while.

Ya know, I'm really getting sick of these stop hating Justin Bieber threads. They outnumber the threads that actually do hate on Justin Bieber 10 to 1 now. How bout we stop mentioning him altogether, that way everybody is happy! Sound good?

Of course we love making fun of celebrities for no other reason other than the fact that they are celebrities, but this guy gets more hate than the Fuhrer.

Well the Führer actually accomplished some good and beneficient things (and to all you people saying otherwise: brush up on your history). I mean, it's not easy to drag an entire country out of an economic depression to economical prosperity in such a short amount of time.

Justin Beiber hasn't accomplished much at all. And he and his *cringes* "music" is obnoxious to boot. Hence why people hate him more.

There are plenty of celebrities that are followed day and night and they don't lose their cool over nothing. He knew what he was getting into when he started his career and people don't deserve to be treated like that when they are simply doing their job. The more annoying thing is that he lies and says he didn't do that (the outburst on Sunrise) despite multiple witnesses saying that he did.

I don't like him because he trys to act so cool and great. He makes himself out to be some kind of god to his fans (like Lady Gaga). He's gotten rich by doing something that a lot of people don't like. He is young and puts a bad reputation on young people. I'm the same age as him and I hate to think people dislike my age group because all they can think of is him when they think of people who are my age. Not all of us have annoying hairstyles like him, not all of us have squeaky voices like him, not all of us are oblivious of Germany's existance.

He's obnoxious about his fame, and only got there through luck. That's the most likely cause as far as I can see.

Or you could blame modern cultures. Many of us are parts of cultures that have reason to be against him on some level or another. Not 'Kill the heretic!' against him, but a subtle, subconscious-influence kind of against him. Then again, that's true for most celebrities, so it's probably mostly the first thing.

He randomly got lucky making half-baked songs where he doesn't even have to sing in tune and has fans roaring after him. I'm a musician, and to see that kind of fame go to something like that makes you just a tad annoyed.

Imagine this: Suppose you're a painter, and you look in an art museum and see all of the great masters of art and all of their wonderful paintings, and along comes a boy still in school who draws stick figures. All of a sudden, everybody loves him and his stick figure pictures and nobody cares about the Mona Lisa.

That's why we hate Justin Bieber.

And he's too young to be anything but a pop star that burns bright for a short time before falling into drugs and obscurity. Many other people deserve the popularity he has really no claim to other than the usual reasons these people appear.
