No offense, man, but it kinda seems like the girls in your life are trotting right over you. If it really bugs you, put your foot down, and tell her to get her own stuff (or buy stuff for her), that your wardrobe helps fit you, and that her wardrobe helps fit her. It might be cute a few times, but to wander off with more than what can be counted on one hand is a bit much. If it's the post-staying the night "I need something that I wasn't wearing yesterday" argument, then tell her to bring a change, or to keep a spare shirt and pants at your place, on the other side of your closet. Be firm, say your stuff is yours, and her stuff is hers, and that she wouldn't want you strutting about in her clothes, so the same applies.
lol, slow down carebear. It's just some t-shirts.
Haha Oh, I know. But it starts with T's, then it's hoodies, then any hats, then any jackets you have that are excellent, then it's your slippers, and your blankets, and soon, come winter, you have no way of keeping warm! It's all part of their devious plans.

I tend to buy T-shirts that are bigger than I need because bigger clothes mean I feel smaller.

Also, I can't see the Hulk Smash ever getting old, just remember to paint your body green beforehand.

I always lose my gym shorts. I now buy those cheapo-5 in a bag gym shorts because I know they'll always disappear after a visit from a lady friend.

No clue why they do it, but I think it's kinda sexy/cute when a girl wears my shirts.

Or anything of mine really.
This is the reason I don't care that my clothes get stolen.

Women tend to be far more of a social animal than men. When we get close enough to somebody to feel a real connection, everything gets moved from "His Stuff" and "My Stuff" to "Our Stuff".

My husband steals some of my clothes too (concert t-shirts and other basic T-shirts.)

Not our fault that most men can't pull off a v-neck shirt that accentuates curves.

They do it to feel close to you even when you're not around. I like wearing his large shirts as I feel tiny in them and that makes him feel even bigger and manlier. It's like having a hug from him when he's not there. The hoodie thing is that well, they're comfy and warm but women generally can't get away with wearing a mans hoodie without the viable explanation that 'it's my boyfriend's, not mine' They also smell like him :D
This seems like the best explanation I've seen so far of why women do this. Still, why steal instead of borrow (not saying you are, just wondering why any girl would take a shirt and never return it)? If the shirt is never returned, eventually the smell will wear off and it'll just be another too-big shirt. Unless there's some sort of trophy/collection mindset involved here.

I'd rather have a t-shirt taken than my life force, as women are known to do.
Your literal "life force" (a force which creates life) is something most men are only too happy to donate.

i would just like to point out, that no matter why they do it, very few if any men anywhere will break-up with them for it.

the only reason i broke up with her is because i literaly walked in on her fucking another guy, and she thinks im a dick?
Yeah, you were supposed to offer them tea and biscuits.

THEN POISON THE TEA...
I'll remember that next time
When FIRE is too much of a collateral damage concern and BRUTAL BLUDGEONING is just far too much effort then POISON is the answer.
No. Fire is always the answer. If it's not, then the question is obviously wrong.

They steal them so they can feel connected to you. If your girlfriend steals your T-shirt that mean you got that p***y on lockdown.
You are my new favourite person 0_0 Not sure exactly why, but hat post seems hilarious... Good on ya.

Mine is rather fond of my Hadouken shirt.

She says she likes it for when I'm not there, and it's smell reminds her of me. However, taking that much from your wardrobe? I haven't a clue, unless of course she's intent on making a shrine out of your clothing. Or selling them on eBay.

I think the latter.

Because he stole my goddamn bra, that's why. If he's wearing one of mine, I'm wearing one of his.
... So wait, that's what women like in men?

OT: I don't know, they like the smell of men?
No, it's what some men do when first confronted with women's underwear.

But I'd guess it's a Freudian thing. The shirt smells like comfort. Stability. Familiarity.
