I don't hate all of them.

I hate the first primarily because of Jake Loyd(Anakin).

I dislike the second because of the puke worthy relationship between WhinyMcFuckwad and Ms "I like wearing slutty clothing, but constantly say we can't be together." It was significantly improved by enjoyable action and Yoda going apeshit at the end as well as Christopher Lee being awesome..

I really enjoyed the third actually. It had a much better story, better writing and it seemed that Hayden Christensen got some acting lessons. Also, the last 30 minutes or so when the Empire rises and all the Jedi are slaughtered, along with the rest of the Republic, is one of the coolest moments in any of the movies.

So does the video above show that Lucas is a talentless piece of trash? I'll let you decide...But the answer is yes.

I prefer the prequels, so no I don't agree that they're terrible. I think you're just clinging on to nostalgia instead of moving on.

The writing was bloody terrible. The pretty effects did not make up for the weird plot turns (midichlorians? And Anakin being the child of the Force + Mrs Skywalker? And Anakin just sort of suddenly going all emo-***** over Padamommy or Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name was? Their relationship really wasn't very well-paced...) and the fact that it felt rushed and just half-assed.

Also, Jar Jar Binks. Who the hell looked at that guy and went "OH YEAH, GREATEST CHARACTER FIND OF 1999!!"?

To be honest, I loved them when I they came out. I think it was the feeling of experiencing part of the history of Star Wars, something that I had loved for sometime. But after a while, that sheen sort of wore off, and they lost their appeal. I still root for Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen as actors, though. I think they performed well in shitty roles, and they should not be thought less of for that.

Yeah I loved Darth Maul!! Super badass!....dies without even a sentence being spoken...Oh and you're talking about Quigon Jin!! Yes that guy was pretty damn awesome.

*Sigh* I'll put it this way the Original Trilogy Made Darth Vader look like the baddest of bad dudes out there...the Prequels?....meh more like a whiny angsty teen gone wrong. Like a Draco Malfoy from what my friends told me about him.

Because Hayden Christensen was a whiny little ***** whom ruined my view of Darth Vader, terrible writing, wooden or over-the-top emotion, and Jar Jar Binks.

That is all.

Well there are many reasons basically though there just poorly made films, now the original trilogy was no artistic masterpiece but they were well made, followed the heroes journey to a T,visually pleasing full of memorable characters.I'm still not sure who the main character suppose to be in the new trilogy the plot is so unnecessarily convoluted with cringe worthy dialogue to boot and no memorable characters other than the ones your already familiar with, BECAUSE THEY KILLED ALL OF THE ONES THAT WERE REMOTELY ENJOYABLE!I think the creators immediately put themselves in the hole by making it a prequel trilogy and maybe not just one movie but I'm sure mostly financial reasons helped motivate that decision.

The thing that sucks the most for me is that there are small bits and pieces of that magic scattered amongst the three movies that made the the original trilogy so enjoyable for me.While I don't hate the new trilogy as much as some I hate the fact that it was a wasted opportunity for the Star Wars universe because it deserved more than the mediocre treatment that it received.

At least modern technology helped make the action super fast and sexy.Without that I see no other redeeming quality of those movies. The bright side is that there are still other outlets for solid Star Wars experiences, books, games, etc.

Okay, by now we can all agree that star wars episodes 1, 2 and 3 were all really, really terrible, and were an affront to the shimmering cinematic diamonds known as star wars.
I disagree. I liked them more than the original trilogy.

The original trilogy are boring to me.

And to all those complaining that Anakin was too whiny; What do you think the most evil, powerful person in the galaxy should be like when they're young?

Anakins character was written perfectly for what he would later become. If he was a happy, appreciative, obedient pupil of the Force, he never would have become Darth Vader.

I don't.

Part 1 and 2 weren't all that good, but 3 is probably my favorite Star Wars movie even if it is very rushed.
This is me too. Though in addition I think that fight at the end of The Phantom Menace is the best of all of them!

But honestly. I know I'm ranting here, but put it this way

THE FORCE IS MICROSCOPIC BACTERIA!?!?

That's not what fucking Yoda said in the Empire Strikes back!!! He said it was a mystical unknown force that connected everyone throughout the universe and how it was stronger in some than others.

George Lucas took that Zen-like Idea of Awesome Psychic Powers and turned it into something like Psychic BACTERIA!?!?!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

George Lucas just did this to every fan:

Jackass... -_-

I disagree. I thought Episode 3 was damn good, but suffers because it's a combination of being not as good as any of the original three and being lumped in with the previous two duds.

With that out of the way, I didn't like the new trilogy because it lacked Han Solo. That's it. I probably wouldn't have liked it much better if Han made an appearance (I was pissed about the shoe-horning in of Chewbacca), but the movies lacked a Han-type character. And Star Wars ain't Star Wars without the suave yet arrogant sonuvabitch.

........I never really understood why people hated 1-3 either. I went back and watched 4-6 and I can honestly say that my favorite movies in the series were 1 and 3. (Although I find 2 inexcusable, it just didn't make a bit of sense, and the one part that I came close to liking was ruined by being too short and really boring.) Not to say I didn't enjoy 4-6 but I just find them to be very over-hyped.

What is it about Harrison Ford that just makes people love him!? He honestly was one of my Favorite Characters in the Original Trilogy along with Boba Fett!

Why was he badass!? Because he was a smuggler and bounty hunter who traveled with a Giant man-like gorilla called a Wookie....Badass!?!? I think so!

Oh btw
