i was playing gears of war 2 the other day. i was playing submission and when the round started i ran as fast as i could to get the mourter in the middle of the map.

after i got the mourter i got started useing it and some guy on the other team kept yelling at me for killing him with it saying "the only way your team could ever win is with the mourter"

so the next round i took it but didnt use it and our team still won and the same guy convinced me of cheating and he rage quit

so what would make you rage quit?

I rage quit when most of the other team quits and I have to spend half of my time looking for someone to shoot. I really am an impatient gamer. For example, I only play MW2 in that one playlist with up to 18 players. I can't remember the name, but its the only mode I will ever play because I hate looking for enemies.

I rage quit when my team is supposed to capture an objective, but they all become snipers and turn the game into a team deathmatch.

Honestly, I never try to rage quit, but it's happened to me more then once. Usually by my teammates in 2vs2 Halo when the other team is winning. My teammate will say I'M the reason we're losing and quit even though I have twice as many points as him. The only reason I'd rage quit is cheating.

When I play against tea baggers, I wish I could rip out their balls in real life and put them in tea and make them drink it the fuckers.

Team killing usually gets it.

Even offline, I have a habit of not saving as much as I should, especially in RPG's, and any time I die and I realize how far back I have to go, I ragequit.

Modern Warfare 2 is the single most rage-inducing game I've played recently, there's just so much crap goes on there.

Aside from that, its campers and people who spam the mic to call everyone "DUMBASS FAGGOTS" that make me ragequit...

To be blunt, idiots.

Such as standing in doorways so they act like a wall, choosing something like CTF then doing nothing but look for kills, going on TDM and do silly stuff like spinning while firing, firing your gun as soon as you start the match (it's like asking for a noob tube to kill your team) etc etc.

I don't rage quit though, I just finish up the game then watch tv a bit or in the case of idiots playing TDM in a CTF match, I quit the game and watch tv.

I don't turn into the hulk or anything, just sigh.

Probably when I'm raging.

If I rage quit when I'm raging, I stop raging

HURR HURR HURR.

Seriously though, I rage quit when I get too frustrated over dying to perform well. When in that state, I lose concentration and just die over and over again.

Rage quitting in those situations might even help the team sometimes. But really, I do it so I can calm down and later enjoy the game more.

When the game is no longer fun. If I find that I'm not enjoying myself, I won't continue playing. This could be in multi or singleplayer and it could be for any number of reasons.

Rage is a big word, it's more of an annoyance. I rarely quit though, only when my team consists of absolute douches.

Recently on my Goalie for NHL 10, when my defense decides to break down. Also FF XIII, first time I've rage quit due to story. Hope will not shut up!

I only ragequit when other players are really getting on my nerves. Losing doesn't bother me too awful much, but when my entire team is more concerned with doing something stupid or trying for some random achievement, I get a little ticked.

Case in point; almost every Big Team Battle match on Sandtrap I've ended up in while playing Halo 3. Almost every time, my teammates all start screaming about flipping the Elephant and proceed to spend the entire match attempting to do so. I don't begrudge players playing for fun, but don't join a game of Slayer and not even try kill anyone. It's just common courtesy.

Well of course the conditions are different with each game I play.
For instance, I rage quit from MW2 if I get a 1:2 kill death, usually caused by dying three or four times in a row just by spawning.
As for Counter Strike, I'm a lot more strict on myself, I usually leave (It's not really rage quitting most of the time) if I get a bad score, and it varies from game to game, because sometimes I do very well (50 kills 4 deaths) and other times I'm content with 2:1 if I'm just in it for fun.
RTS games on the other hand, I never ragequit. Supreme Commander, Starcraft, I just can't do it. If my team leaves, or my defeat is imminent, then I let the other team destroy every last trace of me, because they worked hard and deserve to blow some shit up. Of course when the other team is full of jackasses I quit, so I guess I don't "never" leave RTS games...
I should post this before I decide to delete it, pretty bad post.

Under really really rare conditions, when my whole team runs arounds stupidly looking for fights instead of finishing the objectives, when I try to finish the objectives alone the whole opposed team starts hunting me, then when my team sees I'm close to finishing the objective myself it starts to hunt me too. That's a retarded situation, happened to me once or twice in my gaming life.

I never rage quit...in fact one of my worst MP experiences was in KZ2, where I was playing as a helghast, against 5 guys...1 vs 5, you can do the math, they eventually locked me on the spawn point and though I managed to kill one every one and then they kept killing me, it was not fun, but I endured...
