Find a game with an epic battle and you will probably find about a thousand metal songs about an epic battle as well.
That's how I think about it, anyway.
Granted, this doesn't apply to oldie games like Mario or Zelda...
You say it like you can't like both metal and jazz/classical. Listen to more metal genres you will find the those genres overlap a lot.
