As far as sarcasm, mostly. I was pointing out how your assessment of self-wankery contradicted what I said about the Escapist. I didn't really take any offense, just made an observation.

I think the claim to Search button is a little faulty, because unless you get the exact phrasing correctly, you'll overlook possibly tens of threads that were clones of those you're planning on creating. Instead, people should just link the older one, explain what happened, and report the thread. The whole Search-Nazi ordeal that the forum goes through is very frustrating and almost antagonistic toward the newer people who don't aren't up to speed.

Really, we should encourage users to use the Search, but not be biting or sarcastic when they don't. It's tiresome.
