Why does everybody here love TF2?

Well the possibilities are endless, there are multiple classes, multiple weapons and tons of game modes. It's well balanced, it's graphically pleasing and the engine is really solid...what's not to like?
I was gonna say that I liked TF2 because the gameplay is different than most shooters...
this however, explains much better why I love TF2. Especially the part about the assault rifles.Ch@Z said:

Because the Escapist is full of unrepentant Valve fanboys. As such, having 90% of the population here liking TF2 is par for the course.

I can't say I love the game, as I haven't played it, but I do love the "Meet the *insert class here*" videos =D
Because it's fun, and very amusing.

Because this is a place for people who know what they are talking about when it comes to video games. And TF2 is a masterpeice of online competitive gaming. Well balanced; a good sense of humour about itself and its plave in context to the rest of gaming; a community thats wide enough to cater for different skill levels; Simple to learn, deep enough to master; enough variety in maps and game modes (whether they be standard or user generated) to allow for variation; and the constant stream of patches and updates by valvue ensure that the game remains dynamic in fresh.

I just love the art design and the humor that goes into it.

In this day and age any pc gamer worth his salt plays tf2. As the escapist is geared towards gamers and it requires a pc for access you can easily see why.
Personally I love its varied gameplay with each class, its fantastic art style and characterisation and the fact that it is just so much fun to play.
