The reason behind Operation Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel not hitting PS3 are all the same as of why Haze never hit Xbox 360 and PC.
MONEY!
As already said before, the PS3 still haven't catched up to Xbox 360 in terms of good games and is still way more expensive. Xbox Live may cost, but it costs so little that it barely makes a mark in your wallet, it's so much better than PSN anyways.
$20(every 3 months) or $50 a year barely makes a mark on your wallet?
Sure, PS3 may have better junk in the trunk, but being able to make the games look better doesn't quite equal making them better or any such.
Oh and my biggest problem with the PS3 is the controller. It hurts so, so much in my hands that I can't play with it for more than 10 minutes at the most.
In terms of good games? That's quite a laughable statement there. I don't enjoy running down a whole list of games to prove a point but I'll just state a few GOOD games that have been RELEASED on the big black box of steel:
Metal Gear Solid 4: GotP
Killzone 2
LittleBigPlanet
Bioshock(you know, the updated better version?)
Warhawk
Uncharted
etc, etc. You know the rest if you own the console.
Now, how is XBL > PSN? I don't see the difference between the two besides ads and a larger community. In the long run my good sir, the XB360 is a more expensive console.
So, you lay down let's see.. $399 for an 80GB PS3 which is the same price as an XB360 Elite.
Or you can just buy a 40GB PS3 for around $220. Now when you make that purchase, I'll assume you purchased the arcade/core version which is $199, cheap eh? So, now you must purchase the HDD or the Xbox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack, which runs to about $100 (I rounded.)
So, PS3 40GB purchase is about $220+ (online shopping,) and... that's all. I'm sure a home with popular HD gaming devices has a few HDMI cables laying around, or an extra 10 bucks for another.
PS3 40GB: $220+ (plus the extra 10 for the HDMI cable, damn you Sony for using the standard AV. >_>)
PS3 80GB: $399 (same price as XB360 Elite)
XB360 Arcade: $199 or $200 (plus the two free games

)
XB360 60GB starter pack w/ free 3 month LIVE service: $100
That's $300 you the consumer, have put down for Microsoft's cheapest XB360 model.
Cheapest console? Bullshit. The Wii is, even if it comes with a horrid list of shovel-ware.
