That basically amounts to the characters where good and evolved well. The world was beyond anything i have ever seen, that still holds true for me today. I also seem to recall a ff game that came before 7 that had modern tech, that video they played on one episode of unskippable.(I forget which number and i think i own the game)

No, he was thinking of a game before VII, that was featured on Unskippable, that is VI. Everyone knows Aerith died in VII. It's one of the biggest spoilers in video game history.Stranger 517 said:No, they fucking killed Aeris in FFVII, not FFVIkyosai7 said:YOu're thinking of VI, released as III in USAdmase said:Well thats an easy one

FlashHero said:FF7 is best becuz i played it for over 600 hours and only beat it once...yep...the Materia sys is the only sys i felt like mastering everything in...and FF8 is only a .5 bar down from it.
No one pic can capture 600 hours of gaming.kyosai7 said:FlashHero said:FF7 is best becuz i played it for over 600 hours and only beat it once...yep...the Materia sys is the only sys i felt like mastering everything in...and FF8 is only a .5 bar down from it.
600 hours?! Can you, like provide a pic or something?! I mean, seriously... Only game I got addicted to was Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and I've only clocked 160 or so hours...
Sorry, thought you were talking about Aeris' death, not the Unskippable video. My bad!kyosai7 said:No, he was thinking of a game before VII, that was featured on Unskippable, that is VI. It was my first Final Fantasy and I still don't get what's so great about it.Onyx Oblivion said:As for why...
7 was many people's first.
This was a big deal when it happened. Because it was permanent. People weren't used to this. We were used to things like Rayman, MArio and the like. Then all of a sudden this comes out and says " She's dead and you CAN'T bring her back! She's dead forever!" This was a BIG deal in 1997.Quiet Stranger said:So he killed someone it's not like people don't die in every other game, who cares!Stranger 517 said:No, they fucking killed Aeris in FFVII, not FFVIkyosai7 said:YOu're thinking of VI, released as III in USAdmase said:Well thats an easy one

Back in '97 everyone cared. Not many games come out and say "This game will in no way have a happy ending"Quiet Stranger said:So he killed someone it's not like people don't die in every other game, who cares!Stranger 517 said:No, they fucking killed Aeris in FFVII, not FFVIkyosai7 said:YOu're thinking of VI, released as III in USAdmase said:Well thats an easy one
