Why is Brian the Dog an atheist when in he has seen Jesus multiple times? I don't get it.

Really? REALLY?

Your trying to seriously analyze a comedy cartoon? What's worse, you try to seriously analyze Family Guy!?

My god man.

Honestly, it's Family Guy. I don't even know how else to go about saying it except for that.

Television writing is inconsistent.

It always has been and it (probably) always will be. When you make something in 30 minute increments and then do it for 4 - 6 years, things are gonna get screwed up.

I agree. Trying to make sense of it will just hurt your brain.

On different note, where did you get your avatar? I love the asdf movies!

I do too, so i went over to the Avatar Store and put out a request just for the heck of it and Carmel Frappe had it done in about ten minutes! Those guys are amazing.

I must say, I enjoy yours, but what exactly is it??

I was going to come up with an argument, but this does it better.
You're also missing the point of the show: its a fucking cartoon.

Why are Itchy and Scratchy still alive despite killing each other many many times?
How is Peter still alive despite doing many things that could/should/would kill him?
How did Stewie get inside Peter and destroy all his sperm cells, when shrinking as small as he did, would have made travel to Peter ridiculously time consuming?

Please answer these questions of mine before you question the ideology of a talking dog in a cartoon.

He's a satirical (or at least attempted) representation of a flip flopper on ideals, and wants to be the hipster underdog (no pun intended).

If being religious suddenly became the minority, Brian would become religious.
I always thought brian was just macfarlanes way of voicing his own religion and politics.

A character from One Piece (my favorite manga/anime) named Inazuma. Been thinking of changing and will probably check that Avatar Store.

Out of all the shows I've watched, Family Guy is the most inconsistent :p

Seth McFarlane changes plotline as often as ...Hey, remember that time when Stewie was evil, or Meg was liked, or Peter wasn't functionally retarded.

All you gotta do is post a request for whatever you want in the group chat and you should have it in no time!

Cheers!

I think it's an ironic metaphor for real life, where it so much information that disproves Christan beliefs in real life is true, it's silly to be a traditional Catholic or Christan, because everything the bible says about science has been wrong.

So for Brian, it's the ironic opposite.

Well, he is a Dog, in the show's continuity (this includes Cleeveland and American Dad) didn't they say that animals doesn't go to heaven?

He probably doesn't exactly care, though with the things in their universe, it probably doesn't compare to some things.

Because Family Guy is just a gag reel.

There have only been two times when the show had any brains, and that was the episode where Quagmire tells off Brain, and the episode where Brian and Stewie get locked up in a bank vault.
