I don't love Glenn Beck, but I by no means hate him. I sort of think that he's the one of the only people in the media who are willing to not have a whole 'facade' about them and says what needs to be said. This us of course no excuse for blatant racism and such but I think it can explain a lot of what he says.
In short, he's a political commentator who is famous for simply not caring about claims against him.
Err... no. The guy has an agenda that he bullshits through every orifice to trick people into following. Its not political bullshit of "we'll promise this when we know we can only deliver this", its making downright absurd links between things ("Did you know Obama once wiped his arse with toilet paper important from the Middle East? He's a terrorist sympathiser!") before telling everyone Muslims are coming to eat their children. I mean, have you seen that fucking chalk board thing? Only one saying "what needs to be said" my arse.
There is a clip of him on his radio show floating about somewhere, which I think pretty much defines everything about him. He's talking about euthanasia, and a woman (who evidently is not very bright) calls in asking him to clarify what would happen if it was legalised. This woman actually asks if the government would come and euthanise her (or a relative, can't remember which) because they're ill and can't work or anything, and he fucking tells her yes.
Right, I've got it (and yes, I know TYT is left-leaning before someone points out that rather arbitrary point - the full audio clip is still included). Go from 8:45:
Fucking tell me he's not full of shit, I double dare ya.

is he the guy who said "tide goes in, tide goes out, nobody can explain why" in an interview with someone?
Nah, that was Bill O'Reilly.

To be fair, that can be easy said as a metaphor.
It was said on his personal vlog whilst discussing how "ridiculous" it is to not believe in god. He was being quite literal.
