This thread reminds me, what happened to purple ninja I've not seen a recent comment in ages.
That reminds me, what happened to Iron Ninja. God they were both epic.

Iron ninja, if your out there, I have a new pet crab for you!

What anime is it from? I need my super robot fix.
GaoGaiGar (Technically GaoGaiGar Final, the OVA)

It's 20 episodes of kids toy advert cartoon, 29 episodes of fucking awesome, and then eight episodes of even more awesome.

FINAL FUSION, APPROVED!!

Yes, but you have a very strange idea about what a Shinigami is and does. Even stranger than Death Note, and that's saying something.

Bleach's Shinigamis are actually pretty close to the stereotype of a death diety that looks after the deceased and their souls. It's just that 90% pretty much doesn't give a shit and sit on their asses :p

Shinigami are originally based on the western concept of the grim reaper, who turns up to collect a soul at the point of death but doesn't really have much to do with it before or afterwards.

They don't go around having silly shonen fights.

Ninjas don't go around having silly shonen fights either. But since Ninjas are real, Naruto is a bigger offender in the accurate depiction department.

Hey! I'm people! Though you really should have been more specific. Like, "People, minus artistic geniuses with really cool forum handles." Or, "People, but not brilliant, unique individuals like the Bluesader who care about anime as an art form too much to fawn over every single cartoon anyone in Japan plops out for a quick merchandising buck."

I'll abandon this thread by reminding everyone what I said in my first post about Naruto fanboys. Sheeeeesh.

I could never get into Bleach. It's more into getting "Over 9000 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBtpyeLxVkI]" than Naruto is. I had enough of that kind of mindset with Dragonball Z. Give me imaginary technique accumulation over imaginary power accumulation any day.

Granted, after a hundred or so episodes, I'm getting a little tired of Naruto going all, "Shadowclone Jutsu!!" whenever somebody sneezes in his direction. Geeze, kid, learn some new tricks.

So, yes, Naruto wears Orange because he's a knucklehead and if this thread was supposed to be about the video games you should probably give it a title reflecting that. :p

...right.

Wait what? Where did we get this guy? All I said is that people are over analysing Naruto wearing Orange, and I end up being a fanboy? >_>

Plus where the citation at? your claims to artistic genius make me wonder where the proof is.

Also 'Japanese animation or ?Anime? is a complex art form that incorporates various themes, animation styles, messages and aspects of Japanese culture'

When did this stop happening? when did anime, even mainstream anime (including Naruto) stop being art forms? Sure the visual quality has, in opinion taken a turn for the worse, and one could say that is so a series could come out once a week, but mostly all anime have followed this, even many films.

I'll admit that i watch anime and have no shame(fark off) and i also own a fair few anime based games, but Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is by far top of the list. Before i got my hands on it my top anime game would have been Dragon ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, not burst limit! The fact is, the new Naruto game isnt just good to look at, it also keeps close to the manga, story wise, which for me is a big bonus. I'll happily play this over somthing thats supposed to be similar.
