Its not that the graphics were really bad, its just that this stylized, cell shaded style uses a fraction of the PS3's capabilities. I thought the rational for paying five hundred bucks for a system was the superior graphics. Playing Naruto on a PS3 is like buying the worlds fastest car but only driving it in school zones.
If you have the world's fastet car you can't drive with it anywhere at full speed anyway because it's not allowed.

The graphics in this Naruto game should look like in the anime and that is what they do.

And graphics don't have to use everything a system got just to be pretty.

Maybe he only attacks at sunset?

Otherwise, haven't played the game, can't really comment. But I did hear from someone (not a massive Naruto fan) that they found the graphics compellingly lovely.

Ninja Storm is an amazing game. I'm not a fan of any "anime" based games, as I've never played one that was good except Ninja Storm.

MAYBE Orphen from way back on the PSX.

But Ninja Storm was good.

Though.....I'll always label Tenchu as my favorite ninja series (and Shinobi 3 for the Sega Genesis as my favorite ninja game) xD

I am a Naruto fan and can name every member of Akatsuki and the name of the first Hokage. The Ultimate Ninja series was alright I thought. It was like Smash Bros. with Naruto characters. Not as good of course but not absolutely terrible.

For games based of animes and mangas it does its job perfectly.

The series used hand seals, you use button sequeinces.

The voice acting is similar (if not the same) as the translated show.

All in all it did its job, It got its fans to buy the game, and actully gave them a reasonalble experiense.

Interms of being dressed orange i would have to say its a type of atypical camoflage.

Orange is some thing that is difficult to concentrait on, also hwo is goign to take the short kid dressed in orange seriously. theyll asume hes handicap or some thing, ignore him and end up with limbs missing the next second its pure genious!!

It's actually a test of their ninja abilities.

See, dark grey, black, dark blue, anyone can ninje wearing them. It takes a really good ninja to pull it off wearing road cone orange.

Do you really need to care about stealth given the powers alot of ninja have in Naruto? I know the orange is pretty nonsensical from a night infiltration standpoint, but still they don't really need to care. It's like complaining that Force Unleashed is not all about sabre combat when you are effectively a god compared to everyone other than your Jedi counterparts. Would you even need a light sabre if you can pull a battleship out of the sky?

Because the Mangaka is a freaking idiot who hamhands his own Mythos?
He's also drawing it in black and white, so it doesn't matter.
There are color spreads often in Shonen Jump including the cover, Sorry Black and white doesn't give you the excuse to be an idiot.

It also doesn't change the Fact that 99% of his 'Ninja' are Wizards who know Martial Arts.
It could be worse, he could be Oh Great writing Tenjou Tenge where the plot slowly but surely disintegrates almost entirely. It's kind of sad too because he sort of had something going for awhile too. Or he could be the Bleach Mangaka who fucked up his own manga by copying his last major plot arc for no reason at all.

Let's not talk about Berserk, I don't want to be reminded that I will never see that manga end. I can't stand Air Gear, I tried hard but no can't do it. I find it surprising that a by the numbers zombie story like the one found in High School of the Dead ended up being as engaging as it is. The author really managed to nail the characters, not one of the main cast is a douche, I actually like all of the main characters save Alice (I just refer to her as pedobear rather than bothering to remember her actual name.) and that is only because she is just waiting to be torn apart by the zombie horde since she is a kid who can't really fight. The saddest thing is that the Mangaka even managed to get some half decent character development in there too! It's as if the writer actually can write good characters that can make a "been there done that." scenario work unlike the retard writing Naruto who makes a lead character so fucking annoying that by the time you get through with the first half of the manga you just want to kill yourself. High School of the Dead has some nice art too. The style makes alot of sense when you realize that the artist does alot of Hentai. When I looked up the artist and found that out alot of things about HSotD were explained.

Games could learn alot from manga like HSotD especially shooters, likeable or otherwise remotely human characters can make stale scenarios work! Stop being afraid of characterization damn it!
