Too soon, i guess racism towards blacks is much worse then the possible genocide of an entire population (WW2). But, i couldn't imagine a good game plot that would involve the KKK, not to mention that sales would dip in those certain southern US states.

Uhhhhh... no. The racism that blacks had to endure before the civil rights era was terrible, yes, but the Nazis were far worse than rednecks with shot guns. Goebbels was a crazy mother fucker that even the KKK would probably dismiss as too fringe.

Do you really have to ask? With how squeamish the general public is about small inane things the very thought of "the Klan" being in a game would cause a riot. Well, i think it would be an enjoyable game, but it would probably end up being pretty racist
And even if it wasn't in the slightest, it would be pretty controversial, and a lot of people would get all offended and crap

Personally, I would find killing Klan-members more fun that killing the WW2 germans. A german soldier might only be fighting because he's got no choice, but if someone's joined the klan, you know they're evil.

That's ridiculous we play tons of war games where we go and soot up hoards of Nazis and they were worse than the KKK. The point is that they do deserve to be acknowledged... If only for long enough to point out what bastards they were.

The majority of Nazi's were normal guys, fighting because they had to, not because they wanted to. Sure there were the physco and blood-letting lunatics, but it's exceptionally ignorant to dub every Nazi as one.
Personally I'd like to see a game that emphasised this.
On the other hand, all the KKK members are racists. In my eyes, and a lot of other people's, racists are all retards due to there belief that skin colour determines a persons worth.
Why do they deserve to be acknowledged? That's like having a game with every racist term in, just to acknowledge their existance.

You couldn't be more pretentious if you tried. Listen, fine not all Nazi's are evil*, however I highly doubt that many of the SS troops did what they did "because they had to". And it just so happens that more than a handfull of WWII/WWII themed games have you fighting them (Wolfenstien as a series, Bloodrayne, hat Darkest of Days thing that's coming up). Besides it is important for a society to have an example of a truly loathesome group so that they know what they shouldn't do. This is why terms like evil were invented.

And don't get on me about that "there is no good or evil, it's all made up" thing, because that is really just a half truth. Perhaps the concept of an absolute evil may be a bit difficult to come up with. However that doesn't change the fact that theres no way you(meant in a partially rhetorical fashion as well as partly personal, considering all you had to say about why klan members shouldn't be acknowledged) could say that SS members were good people. They knowingly and willingly took part in the slaughter of tens of millions. I've made as much of my case as I care to.

Unfortuanately, the KKK hasn't always been "evil". They started out with a belief, which is white supremacy, which was common back then. The cross burnings are part of some religious act, can't remember which one, but it involves freeing the light of God or some such. Any murders you hear about are by a few extreme (okay maybe a lot) activists.

Now they're a little out of hand it seems, BUT they still want white supremacy. So yeah, I guess that could piss a couple people off.

And NO I'm not a Klansmen or anything, I just don't like it when people shit on group X because of something they heard from a buddy. I actually did some research last year when I was bored.
