125% damage increase is puny? I am not great at math but isn't that more than double damage? Or did you mean to put 25%?Danny Ocean said:Apparently the perks don't actually do that much either. I heard somewhere that magnum ammo only increases the damage to 125% of what it is normally, which is puny.omega 616 said:I think it's far superior to MW2, knfers can't lunge at you, shotguns are usless, no kill streaks, very few "perks" (you can either have more health or more powerful ammo), very few glitches (that I have encountered) and to me far more balanced.
I love this game. I'd say it's way better than MW2. I got to the top level in that game then stopped, because I found that every single time I played I'd come off via a ragequit, even thought I did very well.
MW2 is more arcadey, and surprisingly you die more easily.
BC2 tends to be more serious business. It's also more difficult to do well when you go out on your own (The top kill streak reward is 8, for example).
There are vehicles which work well. It's balanced more thoroughly than MW2. The maps are bigger, and the graphics better.
However if you've just come from MW2 you'll be in for a shock. The game feels slow and clunky by comparison, and there's bullet drop, of course. I got used to it pretty fast, though.
I'd say buy it. I only have it on PC, however. The adjustable sensitivity on here lets me bypass all the slow movements inherent with gamepads, so you might have a different experience if you get it on console.
The only problem with vehicles is you have to be a mechanic to deal with them easily or recon to deal with them in a more tricky way. Medics and assault have no chance against them.
