A console title released every 4-6 years is frequent?tellmeimaninja said:Because it is horrible. It is another great example of Nintendo's suckishness. They release them frequently, the stories suck, most run solely on stupid gimmicks, the gameplay is terrible, and overall: it isn't fun.
Wait... you don't like repetitiveness, but you like Majora's Mask?CoverYourHead said:I still love it, I just want some variety! And to NOT have Gannon has the big-bad. Majora's Mask was a great example and an excellent direction for the series, but they went right back to the old ways. Darker stories, different items, and different baddies. The repetitiveness is getting annoying.
I still love the series though.
Do you want to get flamed?smargh1015 said:personally I have for a long time thought that legend of zelda is one of the greatest game series of all time and i cant understand why so many people are against it. If I'm imagining things please tell me.
At least your: ""Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!"" are being developed by a bunch of different developers and publishers.Flying-Emu said:Spirit Tracks lands on Dec. 31.Hybridwolf said:Quick question though, where the hell is the new one?

I imagine that "Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!" is infinitely better.
Really now. Story in games is shitty all around.
Please elaborate on statement "Stupid Gimmicks"
If you don't like the gameplay, fair enough.
It's raked in billions of dollars and continues to do so even though apparently it's "On the decline"?TheAmazingTGIF said:At least your: ""Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!"" are being developed by a bunch of different developers and publishers.
So what is Nintendo's excuse?
Same for the space marines in power armor defending the American Homeland.Flying-Emu said:It's raked in billions of dollars and continues to do so even though apparently it's "On the decline"?TheAmazingTGIF said:At least your: ""Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!"" are being developed by a bunch of different developers and publishers.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
It's interesting that people say that, since I've yet to see a truly negative review of TP.TheAmazingTGIF said:Same for the space marines in power armor defending the American Homeland.Flying-Emu said:It's raked in billions of dollars and continues to do so even though apparently it's "On the decline"?TheAmazingTGIF said:At least your: ""Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!"" are being developed by a bunch of different developers and publishers.

But since there are not huge amounts of Zelda clones, and the general amount of poor reviews/outlooks for Twilight Princess should say something.
Indeed. Of the 73 reviews on Metacritic, the most negative one (some small website nobody has ever heard of) gave it a 7.8. The game also has 23 perfect scores.Flying-Emu said:It's interesting that people say that, since I've yet to see a truly negative review of TP.TheAmazingTGIF said:Same for the space marines in power armor defending the American Homeland.Flying-Emu said:It's raked in billions of dollars and continues to do so even though apparently it's "On the decline"?TheAmazingTGIF said:At least your: ""Aliens/nazis/faceless soldier faction X are invading the earth/US/Fictional country and you are the only one/squad of superheroes/soldiers/mercenaries/ninja pirates that can save it!"" are being developed by a bunch of different developers and publishers.

I wouldn't say that. I think it's just the thing to hate on, now that Halo's just getting bigger and bigger.Aardvark Soup said:Indeed. People saying they don't like The Legend of Zelda at all either don't want to admit they secretly like it because they don't want to belong to the 'mainstream' or they simply have no soul.
