in fact thats a description of an average peson who my feelings towards are go die in a hole.
Are you seeing it from your perspective though or people you talk to. You could be rude and not even realise it.
Obviously not everyone falls under more then a few but I have to talk to a lot because my girlfriend is 16 (not anything on that list) and my brother is 14

You probably aren't, if you were truly rude then someone would call you a dick and punch you in the face. Just food for thought though

altho I can't fathom where "spoiled" came from; I don't see any of them that way
Youth today get lots of technology that makes everything easier for them, or more enjoyable for them. ...
I recall looking at pictures of the playgrounds my mom played at: cement, sharp, pokey, eye-level bits of metal, etc. If I go and look at the playground I played at, the differences are rather jarring: gravel/sand, rubber/plastic, nothing sticking out at eye level. Everything these days is a lot safer for us than it was for our parents. I mean, lawn darts? We'd never get a toy that could do grievous harm to ourselves or someone else, but my mom and dad had lawn darts as kids.
I hadn't really thought of it that way. I guess I tend to view "spoiled" as someone who expects people to do what THEY want? I dunno.
I suppose it IS easier, in many ways, but I think the fact that a lot of things are easier now actually makes it harder, too. Because then when you DO encounter something that requires more work, it becomes that much harder than if you were used to it.

I, for one, am all for more individual responsibility for children once they hit, like, age 8. We hold everyone's hand so much that their fingers are falling off from lack of circulation. It's getting ridiculous. I totally idenify with the playground thing. When I was in 2nd grade, we had a really cool playground, everything was made of cement, etc. I don't know if anyone even GOT hurt on it, but then they replaced it with the dumbest playground ever. THere was almost nothing to do. It was boring as hell. (They finally made a cooler one two years after I graduated. *sigh*)
