Tomb Raider Underworld. If that's the best Tomb Raider game of recent times, I dread to think what the others are like...
Also Super Street Fighter IV. It's so hard to master, and I just didn't have the patience.

Prototype for the XB 360, I really regretted that choice, so much in fact I don't think I played more than an hour of the game before deciding that I was getting rid of it. Sorry if your a fan of the game just wasn't for me.

Bioshock 2, but admittedly it was on sale for just $20. Only later did I realize that my computer didn't have a chance in hell of actually running it. Fortunately, I gave it to a friend with a computer good enough to run it, but that was overshadowed by the abominable griefing scheme that is Games for Windows Live (We did get it to finally work, but it was quite an unpleasant ordeal).

I then realized that my taste in games and Yahtzee's taste in games were at absolute ends of the planet. I became so frustrated with having to restart the first level in Deus Ex so many times I just uninstalled it.
what? Deus Ex is not a hard game and even then the choices that it presents are fairly straight forward and the repercussions are fairly minuscule, the main effects would be the items you receive or cutscenes.

Well I couldn't get past the first level and I don't have the patience to so I'm not going to try. I'm not trying to sound insulting to you (meant for the first sentence) but I think a game that everyone says you can play any way you want forcing me to play in ways that I do not enjoy might be a bit bad. My complaint about the rifle ranking still stands as well.

"Avatar-The Video Game"

Good movie, terrible game...
Avatar the Video Game

Good Series, poor movie, I have no idea about the game.

Please if you enjoyed the movie go out and find the series, it is much better. Far too much material to compress into a trilogy as I think the movie ended about the same place as the first season.

...Oblivion...
I really thought I would like it, got sold on the "wide open world" and such... I was wrong, though.

Actually funny story with Oblivion, I bought it first a hard copy GotY edition on one of my older PCs. Couldn't stand it, I assumed it was because it ran like crap on my older one.

A few months ago I bought it in a bundle with Morrowind on Steam. I played it for an hour, and gave up on it. It was way too dull for my tastes.

Sonic on Wii Virtual Console. Yeah I like the original game, but for some reason the Virtual Console version kept glitching on me. Waste of $8.

Mass Effect
Assassin's Creed II

Those are the only two that came to mind. Others fell in the "I thought it would be fun" category (Dragon Age, Zombie Driver). I would add TF2 to the "why did I buy this" list, but I bought The Orange Box for Portal and HL2:Ep2, not TF2.

Pretty close to my problem with it. I put eight hours into it, and it delivered on the Wide Open World promise... but it never promised said world would actually be interesting...

It's not. Legend and Anniversary were better. A LOT better.
