Gideon Graves in SPVSTW:TG, most appropriately

I only seem to be able to "almost" kill him
A easy tactic for Gideon
It also works for Roxy,
When you're fighting Graves in his 1st or 3rd form just stay out of his X-axis line till your about to attack.
Ex:IF your about the same level across the screen either move up or down while heading towards him.

If he's flashing that means he's invulnerable to all attacks which means do the same thing but walking away.

The best part is this works really well with Gideons 3rd form's Digital Slash across the map just side step it and you should be off to the credits in no time!

Arkham from DMC3 on Hard mode. You'd think he'd be easier with your badass brother by your side, but no! Vergil just acts like a friggin' puppet that could wander off at any moment. What happened to the Vergil that gave me carpal tunnel from me trying to beat him?!

The Iron Giant in FFIII, or Crawmerax the invincible in Borderlands secret armoury expansion. "Super bosses" apparently put there as a rediculously difficult "optional challenge".

There was this one glitched enemy, I forget if it was in Halo 2 or Halo 3, and it wouldn't die. It was hilarious. I believe it was some sort of Elite Combat Flood Form, and I wasted all my ammo on him.
Good times...

As for bosses, Cletus from Dead Rising was obnoxious, especially in the early levels when he was nearly impossible to beat.

The (Second) Supreme Hunter Boss fight from Prototype had a huge health bar and required a lot of running and slowly picking off health.

Thanks for that, but unfortunately:

The problem is less that Gideon is so hard (seems easier than Roxy, except you really mess up in the second fight) actually, but that usually by the time i reach the third fight, i've lost all my lives (the fights involving the android girls beforehand often makes me lose enormous amounts of HP thanks to cheap attacks) and even with an E-Tank equipped, i get still attacked often enough so that i die just before i defeat Gideon (although he already flashes orange

But i didn't know the Thing about his invunerability, should be useful.

What? No one mentioned Leviathan from Dead Space yet?!

See also: Elizabeth Greene and Seymour in FFX (The encounter at the mountains). GOD FREAKIN' DARNIT, these three take forever to drop (at least for me) >_<

Yeah, that was annoying as hell.
I dropped the bastard in the end though, I felt like I had climbed Mount Everest damnit!

As brief a list as my rant-loving brain can muster:
-All the bosses in Dark Cloud have ungodly long health bars. Once you get the pattern for the fight, they'll never hit you and it becomes a waiting game. The only exception is the optional boss at the end of the optional dungeon.
-Night-Gazer Khighorahk from RuneScape's Dungeoneering skill. His health values are just retarded and he's the easiest boss I've fought so far in the skill. This is made worse by the fact that the boss at the end of each floor is pulled from a random table and you will have to fight him many, many times.
-The final boss from the original Gears of War. My first playthrough was on FUCKING CASUAL(!) and he brutalized me in ways that I don't want to talk about and should probably tell to a therapist. Although that may have been due to playing alone in a game that is just plain made for co-op. Dom's AI is too dumb to live in solo play.
-The final boss in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and the first two in Two Thrones.
-The optional bosses in Kingdom Hearts. They're all just brutally huge health bars.
-Also I feel like the colossal pieces in HeroClix deserve an honorable mention. Fing Fang Foom, Dr. Manhattan, Galactus, The Specter, Sinestro, Starro, The Sentinel and Monitor/Anti-Monitor rank among their numbers. And they're just brutal. Except maybe Sinestro. He's not too impressive to be honest.

The last boss in gears of war. It didn't help that my AI teammate would run straight up to him and try to shoot then get killed by the krill. That boss took me at least 20 tries.

Emerald Weapon. Even using the 7777 trick, he still didn't die. I refused to do the whole KotR chain spamming, so still can't kill him. :/

Pretty much every boss in Just Cause 2, simply because they take several sniper bullets to the head, and then are still alive in the cutscene afterwards. The final boss though, he survives unreal amounts of damage, and only seems a little worse for wear by the end of it.

To be fair though, there are easy ways to defeat all of them, and I found out the hard way that it's NOT run full pelt towards the guy sat in an APC, surrounded by proximity mines whilst he has a minugun pointed at you!

Dont really have problems with most bosses, but in ME2, the mission where you have to recruit Tali, that god damned geth AT-AT thing... Taking that thing out with a M92 Widow and an smg was annoying til you got close to it... Then it was just easy.
