Ahh fox news, is there no "story" you won't air/print/publsh?

I wonder how many people will troll them now by changing wiki aticles about them to include "pedophilic" messages.

I am not sure what disturbs me most, that fox can get away with saying the often uninformed junk they air is fact or that there are people out there who belive it all.

Could you imagine what it would be like to live a life beliving everything foxnews says? The kind of distorted worldview you would have, rapists and pedo's lurk around every corner! communist-fascists seek to destory you! Oh my pedophilic-communist-neo nazzi-rapist Terrorists are *everywhere*.

Is there a report button for Fox News because it sounds like they need a perma-ban for epic trolling.

You forgot Muslim, Atheist, Liberal, Fascist, and video game violent in there as well. Still though, a mouthful to actually attempt to say without losing a few braincells.

I'm so glad i live in Norway. We don't have Fox news here so i can just laugh at their stupidity when i happen to come across an article like this one instead of getting annoyed.
But you should be annoyed, especially as someone not intimately connected to American society. Like it or not, Fox is one of the (if not the) most widely viewed/read source of news in the country. A country that is the still a first world nation, and the largest economy on the planet, and the country that has the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons. You should be very concerned that the citizens of that country are being sold such bullshit as actual news, and that these citizens then have a say in the next elections, which like it or not, can also impact you in some way.

Yeah, but what do we do? Attempt to get our governments to launch a united European invasion of America, to purge the news stations?

The real problem is: because there are far too many stupid people, news stations won't get ratings from REAL stories that make sense; they just want sensationalism. They want big wacky stories.

But I must say, you most certainly can tell when you're talking to an American who watches Faux News; lack of logic and usually can't think, they just state stories from their beloved news network as gospel... Reminds me of something else: religious belief...

...........What?

No. Just no.

Even if there was some evidence there, it just means pedos are using a message board to lure kids. Well, that's no shocker. Accusing Wikipedia of being their home or whatever it plain silly.

This is...unbelievable. FOX News really went too far with calling Wikipedia a core for recruting pedophiles. I'm calling my provider ASAP to get that channel off my TV list.

@aPad

I think you missed the entire point completely there matey. He's talking about those people with those desires who HAVEN'T commited any wrong doings. And as Housebroken Lunatic said:

"...if a society continues to treat certain people like monsters and teach them that they are monsters, then they will ultimately act like monsters."

Which indirectly means you're just perpetuating the problem rather then solving it; you're fighting a fire with petrol. Sure it needs to be known that pedophilia is bad, but to the point that it becomes a witch-hunt that ends up hurting more uninvolved and innocent people than real criminals (i.e: people who put their desires into practise); you're doing something very wrong, and equally just as hurtful as a practising pedophile (If not worse, as you're likely affecting multiple people).

PS: I've always felt that this type of witch-hunting breeds on selfish emotional satisfaction, like a blind crusade for one's own beliefs. But that's just me prattling on.

Why won't FoxNews die? Really, why won't it?
Because too many stupid people believe the garbage they roll out daily.

Not that any other channel is much better. The history channel, discovery channel, etc aren't completely factual. At this point the only thing I watch is cooking for new ideas.
Tell me about, I sometimes feel History Channel should be called WW2 Channel...
Or the Hitler Channel.

Goddamn it Fox, it's fucking Wikipedia.

I have a fetish, and they have a lockdown on the article about it, as soon as more information is added it's deleted, and it's get as short and unhelpful as possible. Why? Because wikipedia doesn't like that fetish. I'm assuming this carries over for pedophilia.

Nah, invasions tend to make things worse. But if you want to do something, just do something like this: find a story that makes no sense, share it somewhere to encourage discussion that points out why the story fails, repeat.

You're right though, stupid people demand stories that validate the way they choose to live, and sensationalism brings in viewers. Think of "WILL X KILL YOUR CHILDREN?! Find out more at 11." Crucial information? Hell no, but the stupid viewer eats it up...
Just like religious people (which also shouldn't exist in the 21st century), but it's the wrong board for that...

The whole time I was reading that I was going "What." [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FlatWhat]
For those avoiding tv-tropes for the sake of conservation of time, I will simply quote it.

"Then, there's this trope:

* "What." You've just been witness to something so bizarre, so eye-crossingly stupid, that your brain no longer has the cognitive faculties to put together a more articulate response. "

It summarizes my reaction quite well, actually.

A lot of people already call it the "Hitler Channel". It indicates the overuse of WWII programming while at the same time keeping the HC initials.

EDIT: Dammit, I was ninja'd.

That's true, I remember writing an article about an MMO that was available for EU and SEA, but not NA, yet somehow it was tagged for deletion (even with links and all).
