Will America ever tire of killing Nazis?

It's the only time in history the U.S was waging a war on somebody as big of a villain as themselves.

They won't let us forget what 'heroes' they are any time soon.

You know in all fariness, who else was going to deal with terrorists. They sure as hell weren't going to stop on their own and the countries they were based in didn't do much to stop them and it does effect us, attacked on our home soil and all that. I think the reason we tend to get involved in other peoples affairs is because what was said in Modern Warfare 2 "What happens over there matters over here," like it or not, it does tend to be true. We may also be overcompensating because of what happened when we tried to ignore these things. It didn't work very well.

It's nothing, they're just generic mooks. They're zombies with MP-40's. It's not America reliving some victory. It's an uncreative way to give someone a reason to, without sympathy, mow down waves of fathers, sons, and brothers in grand set-piece battles. You don't have to make up some story, it's already there. Just plant your finger in the phone book somewhere and add private in front of it, and there's your hero.

I don't think it matters what you shoot in FPS games. People play them to shoot people, not so they can think they're doing good things when they shoot terrorists and bad things when they shoot civilians.

The media seems to think we like killing civilians when it turns up in a game, that annoys me.

Once we fight an enemy that literally killed and raped the dead bodies of babies on a regular basis, that's when we will tire of killing Nazis. But even then we'll still come back to them every now and then (similar to how the Commies are occasionally an enemy nowadays). The Nazis are considered such an unquestionable evil that nobody really gets that upset about killing them. Except for pacifists, but that's for a different reason entirely.

because they only are in their own miinds, also hating nazi's caused a german freind of mine to commit suicide. I hope you are really fucking happy.

There is a whole nation of Germans who deal with Nazi haters all the time I bet. Your friend had a LOT more issues then just that if he committed suicide. And actually not in their own minds as my Grandfather (not by blood but he raised me) can attest as he is still friends with a man who was liberated from a concentration camp by his unit.

While on topic because Nazis are monsters, everyone hates them except other Bigots and even KKK members hate fascists so think about that. What is the one thing a black guy and a KKK member can agree on? We both hate Nazis.

Nazis, Zombies and Trolls are all universal enemies that everyone can kill and hate with out having to feel the emotions of guilt and remorse.

Give the option to a kid between killing a normal person or a Nazi, and they will kill the Nazi. Its good that this is so, because it gives humans a reason to stick together and a common enemy to fight against.
