Well, no arguing with rampant, blinding sexism I guess. Shes a person. Hot or no, she has the same rights as other people.
Oh, damn, you sure showed me. I'm such a sexist!

Since, after all, you know me well enough to brand me such off of two sentences you can't read right.

I hope it turns out her boss was a woman, you might learn something.
Also, criticizing someone for having a faulty argument is not ad hominen. Calling someone ridiculously oblivious, however...
...is called for when it's true.
I'm noticing that you don't actually have any points left, and have been reduced to sarcasm and personal attacks. Well, I think were done here. I support the employee of the month in reasonable dress asking for the same treatment as her co-workers. You support the sex-obsessed pervert who gets all uncomfortable in his no no place when something over a size A is wearing less then a Burka. And now, were not going to do anything except flame, so I don't see the point.

Thats kind of bullshit on all sides. I actually work with women I find more attractive than her, and I've never felt my quality of work deteriorate. Also wasn't Citibank in pretty serious dangerous of bankruptcy recently? That could explain layoffs especially if she wasn't the best worker.

That entirely depends if they are dressing appropriately.

Sadly, the article doesn't show much of her in business attire. If if she is dressing like the first few pictures... no wonder they fired her. But if she did indeed dress reasonably (pant-suit type clothes, as she tells in the article) then the men she worked for had only one head thinking for them. It wasn't the head that housed their brain either.

Yeah, this from a guy who took an entire post of mine, where I address his points individually, quoted the whole thing (or rather tried, but botched the quote tag), and simply replied, "Well, no arguing with rampant, blinding sexism I guess." [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.199372.6525328]

Before, I called you simply ridiculously oblivious. Between this post and the one I just linked, you provided some pretty solid proof that you're not this at all. Yes, thanks to the way you reacted, you've graduated to bonafide raving hypocrite.

I support the employee of the month in reasonable dress asking for the same treatment as her co-workers. You support the sex-obsessed pervert who gets all uncomfortable in his no no place when something over a size A is wearing less then a Burka.
In your little fantasy world, perhaps.

In reality, what you support is a woman you've never met in some kind of kneejerk reverse-sexism that automatically demonizes the boss. If you even read the article more carefully, you'd know that this claim is completely her own, her boss claims that she was fired due to bad performance issues. It's entirely possible she's playing you like a fiddle.

Though I could have put it a bit ore benignly, what I was saying is if a person creates a disruptive presence in the office, and she's unable to solve that she's the cause of that disruption, she's more liable to get sacked than those she disrupts. It doesn't matter if you're man or woman, that's how the work place generally functions. If you can't hear that without your head exploding into a bunch of cheap, easy feminist-supporting answers, you need to go take a good look in the mirror and confront what a knee-jerking twit you are.
And now, were not going to do anything except flame, so I don't see the point.
That was my line, 2 posts ago.

Go back and read my original post on this thread, I clarified far beyond the shadow of these ridiculous knee-jerks, and I would appreciate it if you take the effort to read. Until you demonstrate at least that effort, you've demonstrated only unworthiness to trade words with on this issue.
You replied to me simply to criticize me. It reflected back on you negatively. Learn from it now, and maybe your self-inflicted misery will be short. Do us all a favor: if you're not willing to take a little effort to defend your view, don't bother hitting that reply button, because there's always a chance you're going to run into somebody who calls you on it.

I guess it's okay when she says it(like blacks and ******), but damn.

<quote=Article>Audrey Hepburn elegance.

My balls. There is only one woman that will ever have Audrey's elegance. And we all know who that is.

OT:Bull shit. She's hardly that good looking. And saying that she is being fired because she is to good looking is really just her way of telling us that she thinks that she is better then us.With us being everyone.

Hm. Well she is pretty hot.

But apparently it was down to her work performance.

Maybe she was just a shit worker?
That's true, I mean she was told to dress down a bit, and she lost her job.. but the connection is implied and not stated in a manner that you could say was factual.
But the article also states that she has won awards for performance in similar lines of work. Then again, I don't entirely trust the article.

If it's all true, then that's a silly reason to fire someone.

That sums it up nicely, I think.

Firstly, I don't really think shes that hot, something about her face and also the photos don't look natural at all which makes sense since shes not a professional model.

Secondly, the article seemed way one sided and it went of unnecessary tangents boasting both how 'hot' this women is and how she had to run a marathon barefooted in some third world country . Remove the photos, some quotes about her saying how hot she is and I could probably take this law suit seriously, to me it just seems like she is a bit too much into herself and it is making it very difficult for me to say that shes a victim.

Considering how I think that America is the lawsuit capital of the world I probably have very little opinion on any type of lawsuit and that there are always ulterior motives involve. Look on the bright side, if you become semi-famous from this you could probably end up earning more than that $70,000, but if you were lying then you can always market that hotness you know so well.

I can honestly say that your avatar was far more distracting than multiple full-res pictures of her.

It's like those stories I read about girls who have such huge chests that it affects their quality of life. It sounds ridiculous, but it would be so awful...
Actually it does. Shoulder, neck and back pain. Unable to wear certain clothing so not to be accused of being easy. Trying to find a bra that actually fits, looks nice and doesnt bankrupt you. I know I have G cups.

OT: She does come across as an egomanic. When I was in hs I was told I could wear some of shirts because it was distracting to the male classmates. So I stopped wearing them and no more issues. The continuing issues and the photo shoot kinda waves the red flag of hey look at me I am an attention whore

you know, interesting as this story was (for about 30 seconds) I really don't see why the article needs to be 4 PAGES long, or include a life narrative of the gal...
