Eh, she's all right.

Honestly, I think most of the case is made up. There must have been something in her performance, or something else going on.

There was a flight attendant (who uses the online handle "Queen of Sky") who sued the airline she worked for as a flight attendant after being fired for posting proactive pictures on her blog. She went on to get a book deal, and became widely popular for a while, given that her case was "so unfair to her". But, the pictures were taken while she was in uniform, and on a plane (i.e. company property). That never entered her head as being wrong.

I think this is something similar.

Does anyone else feel like the entire article is just saying whatever and calling her hot repeatedly? I mean it's not a big deal, if she's so hot that the article-writer can't find anything else to say about her then I doubt a modelling job would be difficult to get >_>

you know, interesting as this story was (for about 30 seconds) I really don't see why the article needs to be 4 PAGES long, or include a life narrative of the gal...
That entire website seems to be like that, looks real sus.

I don't really see it as a legitimate reason to fire someone, if in fact that was the case, but at the same time, I would just say let the courts decide the truth of the matter...The evidence seems to be completely circumstantial as far as I can tell.

She's pretty but I've seen prettier women than her. I don't quite get it. o_O People don't fire you for being attractive, so it's just ridiculous.

Hm. The question is, of course: If her attractiveness truly does distract the male workers to the point where they can't work as effectively, does that means it's okay to fire her since in a way, she does harm the company profits? Interesting question... I can't really give you an answer, though.

Yeah. When I am in the bank just deal with the items I have submitted and get on with it as I have been standing in a queue, would not give a fuck if you were bright blue with 3 arms, just bank my fucking cheques.

And no, not all that special.

This seems pretty bogus. I'm sure there's some truth to what she claims, but I really doubt her bosses said or did some of the things in the article. It doesn't help that she has a glamour-shot in the article sticking her chest out like a lingerie model. If her bosses really were THAT cartoonishly evil, then fine, but I doubt it.

And yes, she is a fairly attractive woman, but certainly not the most attractive woman on the planet. There's two very attractive women in the office I work at - does it bother me? No, for several reasons:
1. One is married, the other has a boyfriend
2. Even if they were single they wouldn't be interested in me
3. They're actually pretty obnoxious(well one is)
4. I have shit to do at work!

From the link I had trouble understanding this. Am I supposed to be reading her argument or looking at her body and just trusting her? I do agree I want more info from the bank; maybe she has a history of not working well or breaking standard dress code. To me it almost sounds like a last ditch attempt to win a lost battle. "I am hot that's why I deserve it", I know girls like that, I hate that attitude.

Lorenzana claims that her bosses basically told her she was just too attractive. And when she raised hell and refused to do anything about it?as if there was anything she really could do about it?she lost her job.
Of course there was. It's called McDonalds, eat every meal there and I assure you she wouldn't be "too attractive" anymore. Maybe "too fat", but not too attractive. ;)

But still, it sounds less like "You're fired for being too damn hot" and more like "You're fired for insubordination." Although, unless they have a dress code she was violating, they didn't really have the right to mandate what she wears and therefore they're still out of line, right?

If she's so hot, why not just model?

Has she considered a career in modelling?

It's hard to feel sympathy for her because, as was made painfully apparant by their in depth list of comparisions at the beginning, she's very attractive and probably wouldn't have a hard time recovering from the loss of this job (especially if she has now recieved attention from the media for being attractive and a victim) compared to (for example) a not-so-special looking guy who's job loss went reletively unnoticed.

My thoughts exactly I really thought she was a model on the first pic.

She needs to be modelling things, not stuck behind a desk.
Yes. As she is physically attractive then showing off her body is all that she is good for, God forbid that she'd want to get a real career.
