Unless, of course, it's a formal situation in which swearing would be inappropriate, I think it's nice when people swear to provide emphasis in what they're saying. Swearing all the time, or in contrast to that using cutesy euphemisms, irritates me. Just let it happen and it's cool.

The only time I try not to swear is around my parents or around my boyfriend. Parents for obvious reasons and I don't really get why around my boyfriend but apart from that if I wanna swear I'm gonna swear.

Unless I'm at school, or in the presence of people who I don't want to offend, I don't really like to censor what I'm saying. Nor do I like others to do so for the sake of not offending my delicate and sensitive female ears. As for other girls who swear, I really don't know why anyone should care - if you don't like it, that's your prerogative, just like you might be turned off by a girl with short hair, or a girl with a beard. I just like any person who isn't afraid to say what they want to say.

I swear a lot, but then again I'm a Yorkshire lass so it makes sense. I genuinely had no idea that guys either dislike it or find it sexy, because to me, they're just words.

I always cringe when people avoid swearing.
"Oh shucks!" "Gosh darnit" just make me double take and think "Really guy, really?"

Females that swear bug me about as much as males that do. That is not at all until they reach Yahtzee levels.
To me swearing is a sign of laziness, lack of creativity, or lack of vocabulary. This is of course forgiven in some circumstances, but in most more eloquent language can be used in place of profanity to better get your point across.
If people swear all the time the words lose their meaning.

I don't really care or notice if it's not excessive, but I don't really find it stimulating either.

Girls who drop f-bombs like it's a pre-req for every other word to come out of their mouth, that I find kinda unattractive. I mean, if it's during a football game or sex that's one thing, but when it's just the usual 9 to 5 stuff why are you making everyone uncomfortable?

1] Don't watch Lisa Foiles.
2] Why would you watch Lisa Foiles?
3] Are you trying to make it so such insipid and unintelligent humor is the norm around here by giving that terrible, terrible show ratings? Maybe Lisa Foiles should use her celeb-cred to get a real paying gig instead of choking our atmosphere with this tripe. Nobody watch it, let it die.
4] I am a first-gen jazz musician, and my wife is a second-gen jazz musician. She was raised by jazz musicians. She swears.

A lot.

It's hot.

5] Stop watching Lisa Foiles!
I find her amusing and fair in her reviews. She's not just some idiotic eye-candy. And she's better than some of the other video series' going on.
Umm...look at what she's wearing in the promo pic, and look at what she's wearing during the videos...let's not forget that she has an absolutely terrible delivery [can we not rehearse our vids before we release them; or at least have multiple takes, expertly woven together to have a high-quality end result?].

Better than some of the other video series? Which ones, in particular, is Foiles Top Five better than? Even daily drop is better than Top Five, even if only for the interesting indy music they play.

Eye Candy. That's its only value.

Me and my best mate swear all the time. She's quite funny and swearing usually adds to our style of humor.

I'm a girl and I swear a bit too much, I think. I don't think my friends seem to mind too much. It's just become a daily, or minutely, occurance now. Tis all good fun. And anyway, what else are you meant to shout when you're in Game Rage Mode.

I, for one, am very offended by your potty mouth. :p

WHAT YOU SAY! RAWRR

but yeah, swearing shouldn't be seen as bad. People who are offended by it just need to be more open minded.

People that swear always seem nicer to me than people that try their best not to.
Its honest, human and a fun thing to do.
People that are against swearing usually also complain about noise, living beings, other's outer appearence and whatever else there might be interesting in this world.
Well, another problem with people trying not to swear is that it just sounds stupid. It sounds forced, and the word choice because it's an escape from swearing makes it sound more childish than actually swearing.
Although, people who have to throw in "fuck" after every single word don't sound any better.

So I was just wondering if anyone else agrees that girls swearing just seems nicer sometimes than when they simply try their best not to?
Some people are female, some are male. Some people swear more, some people swear less. I'm not sure if I even understand the question, I don't see why it would matter in terms of anything really. I couldn't even tell you how much my girlfriend swears, to be honest I've never really paid the amount of swearing/lack thereof that much attention.

I swear all the time. Work habit, probably. Where I work swearing is actually a very important method of communication, if you don't swear in my industry clients regard you with suspicion and consider you untrustworthy. I tone myself down a great deal when I participate in this forum.

I always restrain myself from swearing in front of my friend's baby, what with her beginning to talk, sure she'll learn it one day, but I don't want to be the bad influence.
