How about almost everything that Marcus Fenix says in Gears of War? His lines are beyond cheesy and he sounds like a coffee grinder. But I guess that's part of the charm.

RAMIREZ! Do everything while we sit around and yell Oscar Mike!

I swear, it looked like Ramirez defended DC all by himself.

"Got it memorized". Yes I do Axel, yes I do. Both Kingdom Hearts games are so cringe worthy and yet I still enjoy them because I love the gameplay and don't mind the overarching story.

DICE... GET RID OF THAT LINE
Oscar Mike is a genuine phrase, it means On the Move in the NATO Phonetic alphabet
Isn't it?
Yes, but that doesnt make it any less cringeworthy when we hear it every five minutes.
You're the one's who wanted the ultra realistic real world combat game. Well welcome to real world combat.
Wait... I wanted what?
I can only assume that since you bought the stupid ultra realistic real world combat simulator game, that that was exactly what you were looking for in a game; so don't complain when you get exactly what you paid for.

Hey, I wasn't complaining, I just called it 'cringeworthy'. Something tells me you're a little sore on this topic...

Oh I got one, that quote from bust a groove that I heard and her party that left us rolling on the floor laughing. So we were doing the warm up first because truthfully we suck at the game and once the characters started talking we realised that Enix seemed to enjoy sticking in questionable offensive slang into this game such as ""Yo gangsta! Get ready to gang bang!" But no matter how offensive it still gave me a good dose of W.T.F

Edit: And who could forget this quote from Bad Dudes. ?President Ronnie has been kidnapped by the ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue Ronnie?? I think so... can i get a beer first?

'Love' in any way, shape, or form. It's a shame really, because there are actually a few decent games with 'love' as a theme, but mostly I stay away.

And by a few, I mean two.

(Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and Mask of the Betrayer if you're wondering)
You missed Team Fortress 2. The complex love between the Heavy, Sacha, Natasha and the Medic

That's clearly the greatest love story in any game ever.

I love that line, To the point is I say it all the time.

Dammit, Im 37% more likely to become "that guy" now.

OT: "you rock" in Guitar Hero games. No i dont, Its not REAL Guitar.

Semantics, but whatever I don't care.
Sore on this topic? No. I do get a little tired of hearing/reading people complain, which is why I try and keep mine to a minimum and balance it by saying something good about whatever it is I'm complaining about.

Speaking of which I thought of my own addition to this topic, everything the Monopoly guy says in the Monopoly Here & Now World Edition on Wii (I don't imagine it's much different on the other systems). His lines themselves aren't all that bad, it's just that he keeps saying them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and well you get the idea. The biggest problem is they don't provide any option for you to turn his voice off. Like I love playing the game, it's fun esp. with all the different boards they've got in there, I just wish I could turn off the Monopoly guy.

"This is only the beginning"

I lose all immersion in a story once I hear those lines or anything like them.

Also, any time a character's name is repeated too often. WE HAVE PRONOUNS!!!!!

I'm a big fan of Halo and all it's sequels except for one annoying thing that happens in each game. Allies who run into my gunfire and then chastise me for shooting them.

"We're allies Spartan!"
"Watch your fire"

YOU BASTARDS RAN INTO A STREAM OF BULLETS! DON'T WHINE TO ME ABOUT IT!!!

Grrr...

Also, the name Yevon in Final Fantasy X. It's almost the same as with the name God in real life for me. For those of you who don't know, Yevon is, I think, supposed to be a god in Final Fantasy X.
I don't think anyone would really mistake that guy for a god after seeing him. Fortunately, he didn't have any lines. But hey, if you wanna get frustrated at FFX, then let's listen to Seymour Guado.

.....

OH GOD, THE PAIN!!!

.....

EVEN HIS VOICE SUCKS!!

.....

AND HIS LAST FIGHT IS PATHETIC!!

Thank you.
