That's excelent, but if you can, could you possibly get pictures of your weapons please? Also, I believe you have three weapons. To prevent god modeing, I kept the limit at two.Baldrek said:Interesting thread...
I'll have a reserve, pour favour.
And I might be interested in the Co-GM post if it's still available.
Now to get to writing a sheet.
Edit:Name: Edgard Vedvik
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Appearance: Edgard is about 6'1" tall (185 cm), with short blond hair and blue eyes. He weighs about 190 lbs (85 kg), and has a slightly muscular build from several years as a military professional. Usually still wears the black guardsman's uniform, but wears a British combat uniform with his Norwegian insignia when the situation calls for it.
Weapons:
Krag-Jørgensen M1916 Carbine (6.5x55mm, bolt-action rifle, bayonet mount).
Kongsberg Colt M1914 (.45 ACP, semi-automatic, license manufactured Colt M1911 pistol).
Bayonet M/1916 (Length 48.5 cm, blade length 38.5 cm, steel scabbard)
Power: Extraordinarily good vision and photographic memory.
Role: Primarily Marksman, but can fill the role of a saboteur if provided with the proper equipment.
Country: Norway
Bio: A former Oversersjant (lit. Over-sergeant) of His Majesty The King's Guard, Edgard was a career soldier until that fateful day, 9. April 1940. Operation Weserübung, the Germans had called it, a full-scale invasion of Norway and Denmark to both secure Swedish iron imports and take control of the Norwegian coastline, all under the guise of 'protecting' their neutrality from the Franco-British forces.
Luckily for the Norwegians, things didn't go as planned when the 'Blücher', a German heavy cruiser, was sunk by a shore battery in the Oslo-fjord, delaying the invasion of the capital city long enough for the royal family, the cabinet, and the national treasury to be evacuated from the city.
Edgard and the rest of the battalion fought off the Germans pursuing the government, and kept on fighting as they retreated northwards. Up north he and the remaining Norwegian forces were evacuated to the UK after the battle of Narvik (and the fall of France), here he was assigned to aid in soldier training at a camp near Dumfries, Scotland.
In March 1941 he was reassigned to Norwegian Independent Company 1 (Or Linge's Company as they came to be known) where he received training in demolitions, or 'the art of sabotage' as his instructor called it. He served dutifully in the company until June 1944 when, on leave in London, he was asked to transport a strange stone back to a British laboratory for some Norwegian scientists. In the days following this not very unusual request, Edgard noticed that his eyesight seemed to be getting sharper and sharper, to the point that he could accurately discern a persons features no matter if they were a few feet away, or several hundred yards. In addition his ability to recall things rapidly improved as well, making it possible for him to recall every minute detail even if he had seen it only for a moment, or even if more than a week had passed.
At first he kept a tight lid on it, thinking that nobody would believe him if he told them, and that he might be viewed as mentally ill. Only recently was he approached by his commanding officer who confronted him about 'anything unusual?'. Edgard decided to come clean, and suddenly found himself reassigned to a newly created battlegroup (or task force).
Additional notes:
- Edgar is a Norwegian, and can speak both his native language and English. Because of this he can also understand a good deal of German, even if he cannot speak it.
- His weapons are still the ones he was issued back in Norway as it has not been deemed important to replace still fully functional arms.
- Oversersjant is the rank equivalent of an American Staff-sergeant and a British Sergeant.
No, that's fine, but i thought that there was three guns on there. Oops. I guess I didn't read it as well as i thought i did. Hang on...Baldrek said:Pictures added, and I should have made it clear that Edgard has exchanged his knife for the bayonet, for a more historical correct arsenal.
But I will, of course, edit that if it is unacceptable.
Excelent!! A deffinite acceptance.Crayzor said:Here you go.

Power: Phasing; the ability to pass through solid obhects
Role: Close combatant.
Country: USA
Bio: Born in Virginia in 1921 the son of a farmer, Nathan ?Nate? Hawkins was the youngest of three brothers. While having no interest in joining the army, they were all brought up to be strongly patriotic, and to have pride in being American. After the attack on Pearl Harbour, and the subsequent declaration of war on the US by Japan and Germany, Nate and his older brothers, James and William, all headed down to the recruitment office and signed up. All three of them were sent to the Pacific theatre, and spent two years island hopping across the ocean together. In an ambush, Will was killed by a Japanese sniper and most of their squad died as well, including their Sergeant. Nate organised the survivors and led a counterattack, defeating their attackers. Both James and Nate were reassigned and sent to Britain in preparation for Operation Overlord. Shortly before the operation began, Nate was promoted to Sergeant in recognition of his service in the Pacific. He lost his other brother during the landing on Omaha Beach, leaving him the only survivor of his siblings. After the Liberation of Paris it was decided he would sent back to the US, it being considered bad publicity if all the members of a family lost all its sons. His final mission was to guard a strange stone as it was transported to the US for study. His curiosity got the better of him, and he touched it. He soon discovered his powers and, when the higher ups found out, as they always do, they considered his abilities more important than avoiding any bad publicity, so he was assigned to a special task force, made up solely of those with supernatural abilities.
