Venom, can you give us a date on which we are playing, for reference with historical events? For example, has Market garden started yet? Also, you said the bunker is in Portsmouth. Doesn't that imply the Germans have invaded Britian?

Because, potsmouth is a seaside town. Germany has sailed over to Portsmouth and we are going to stop them, so they can't expand.

For a time, check the OP current assignment.

Edgard politely declined the drink and passed it on, drinking before an engagement wasn't something he practiced. Besides, that stuff smelled awful compared to the few whiskey rations had tasted while posted in Dumfries.

Now that everybody had introduced themselves (with him looking a little suspiciously at the German, the memory of the fallschirmjagers taking Sola airbase still fresh in his memory), Edgard had two questions he needed answered.

"Excuse me for asking, sir. But the rules of this engagement are to kill all those occupying the bunker, does this also apply if they surrender, or if there are non-combatants in the complex?"

Edgard waited for a little moment before asking his second question, letting the first one sink in a little, "And also, wouldn't it prove better for Britain's defence if the bunker could be of use instead of leveling it? It stands on British soil after all. And please understand that I do not mean any disrespect, and I will follow my order to the letter if this possibility has been considered."

An evil grin spread across Dans face,
"We kill everyone. You never now what survivors can do."
He shuffled at a particularly large bump.
"They aren't too powerful, so the bunker will be the only thing destroyd. It'll be fine. Besides, that's the way me and Parker do things."

When the drink was past to Marcus,he unfastened his gas mask and pulled it up enough so he could drink it.This revealed nothing of his face.It looked like Marcus was just a Pile of clothes walking around and talking by themselves. He was completely invisible, the drink appeared to disappear in thin air as he drank it,changing from a foreign object to one that the body recognized and accepted into the invisibility of the body itself.Marcus had decimated the turpentine in the flask. As he pulled his mask down he looked inside, seeing that he had drunk most of it,he frowned. Then pulled his flask from his jacket and poured it inside the the other flask, hoping that the others would be able to stand it.

Edgard nodded to Dan, his face devoid of emotion. He would follow his orders, and if they were to kill everyone in that bunker, he would do just that. But he sure as hell didn't have to enjoy it. In fact, he felt a small measure of disgust for Dan's smile, killing civilians, contractors, and people who had surrendered was never something that warranted a smile of any kind. And it wasn't like the Germans weren't conscripted like most of the Allied forces, for all he knew they were decent people, with families waiting back in Germany...

But still, orders were orders, and they were meant to be followed. Or this war would never be over.

Dan leaned forward and whispered to Edgard,
"I like it no more than you do. I'm just trying to make a good impression on Parker. He thinks this is what i'm like."
He sat back.

Dan looked at Parker, who was eating a slice of bread.
Dan put his hand out and Parker gave him some.
"Cheers."
he ate it.

Tim gave Dan a look of disgust. But quickly hid it before anyone saw.
Dammed bastard... Hardly human.
He inspected his Thompson to keep him occupied.
All seems in working order...

Edgard gave Dan a brief nod, he still wasn't entirely sure if Dan was telling the truth or not, but only time would tell, and would it really matter on an assignment like this?

Edgard looked around at the other soldiers, earlier he had caught a glimpse of the inside of the Slav's suit, which had contained nothing. Surprisingly, he had not been as unnerved as he normally would have been, but he guessed that the stone they had all been in contact with had changed them all in some way. And there was the only one among them that had been conscripted against his will, Tim he was sure his name was, checking his gun, a sub-machinegun. Which reminded him that, if they were going to be fighting inside narrow corridors in a while, then he needed to be prepared, a bolt-action rifle would only be of limited use on it's own.

He grabbed the bayonet off his side, deftly drawing it out of its sheath and turning it 180 degrees before sliding it into the mount on the front of his weapon. Not one movement was wasted, and it was preformed with precise timing, no wonder really, as he had done that particular drill for several years. After he had secured it in place he held the weapon up against his left knee with the bayonet pointing to the opening of the truck, so that nobody felt unnerved by having it close to them.

Tim looked around, he was the only conscript here. He hated those who weren't, they were all patriots and nationalists. Those who view their country as better because they were born in it. Pride, one of the seven deadly sins. The sin that had caused countless wars, including this one. For someone of his status Tim was well informed. His old boss was a nice man who used to talk to him about politics and always informed him of current events. He talked to him like they were equals, something rare amongst the upper-classes. Tim smiled at the fond memories, but that was all they were unfortunatly, memories.

Robert looked around at his new team mates. He felt a bit odd getting forced into a new team just because of touching a rock, he didn't converse much with others since his position required him to be alone most of the day so is was rather uncomfortable being around so many people and being so silent.

This mission is going to give me a good chance to see who I'm working with.

Dan gave Tim a look. He didn't like tim. Not yet. He had a strange look about him.
"So, how much longer will it take, before we're there?"
"Not long now." Parker replied.
"Alright. We might as well demonstrate our powers."
Dan took a grenade from the emergency box and though it out of the back of the truck. He spllayed his hand and it traveled back. He put it back into the box.
"Don't worry, I didn't pull the trigger."

Victor looked around a couple of time, then sighed,he had to go first again. He focused let his body accept his uniform and weapons as parts of himself. He turned completely invisible, then teleported next to a few people and slapping them before returning to his seat becoming completely visible once more.Apart from his body itself, that was always invisible,a side effect of the touching the stone.

"Here" Laurens said while giving Tim his rifle.
Accepting the flak from Marcus, Laurens hold his hand above the opening. Slowly pulling his hand up, water started coming out of the flask. Closing his hand, the water became a small ball.
Opening it again, it became a flat service.
"Well as you can see, I can control water." Spreading his hand, the water separated in to five blades. Closing it again, he allowed the water to pour back in to the flask.
"I also can, to some degree, affect people with my power".

Tim took the rifle and he closed his eyes. He grunted and opened them again.
"The Lee-Enfield bolt-action, magazine-fed, repeating rifle was the main firearm used by the military forces of the British Empire and Commonwealth since 1900 It was the British Army's standard rifle from its official adoption in 1895. A redesign of the Lee-Metford which had been adopted by the British Army in 1888, the Lee-Enfield supersedes the earlier Martini-Henry, Martini-Enfield, and Lee-Metford rifles. It featured a ten-round box magazine which was loaded with the .303 British cartridge manually from the top, either one round at a time or by means of five-round chargers. The Lee-Enfield was the standard issue weapon to rifle companies of the British Army and other Commonwealth nations in the great war and this war."
He smiled and handed it back.
"Along with that I am now a master at using it."

"I can move objects with my mind" Robert said
He let go of his gun and allowed it to float around before grabbing it again.

Robert looked at the flask Laurens had used, water was one of the few things he couldn't control due to its undefined shape.

Robert was impressed by Tim's power.
"Amazing! Tell me, does that work for any gun?"

"Anything, I touch it I know all about it. Be it a fighter plane or sword. Useful, hell I can use it even after this godforsaken war."
He rubbed his head.
"Though sometimes it causes headaches, I tend to use it as little as possible."

Wolf shrugged. "I am strong. I don't really feel like breaking anything to show you, and the back of a bouncing truck ain't exactly best place for arm wrestle, ja? The stone increased my muscle and bone density by many fold, increasing my strength. Turns out, I can also take a hit pretty well. Bullets still pierce me though, but the doctors said that the increased density in muscle mass would better absorb the kinetic energy and isolate the damage. Don't exactly plan on getting shot though, ja? Hehe."
