Most of the hate is towards Henri himself... he should have been honest and said 'ref, i handled it'. But yeah, we'll forget about it in a few years. They're not the team they used to be anyway.

The one player who I absolutely cannot stand in that regard is Ronaldo. It's torture to watch him flinging himself onto the ground reflexively any time anyone gets within a meter of him... he really is a cheating little shit and I can't believe the officials continue to fall for his acting.

We share our hatred of Ronaldo then, I was delighted when he went out of the premier league, his blatant diving always was rage worthy.

I actually felt kind of bad for the four French people in the pub last night as everyone went nuts when Mexico scored... I'm not sure they realised why everyone was rooting against them and singing 'au revoir Thierri!' And my flatmate is a truly lovely french girl but she laughed it off as she doesn't care about football.

The World Cup is the bomb. I love the entire thing. Shame about France (one of my home countries) doing worse then a group of drunken cows. So here's to hoping my other home country, England, can recover from Green's huge error and have some success this World Cup. For other countries that I have no national stake in I support Ghana and Paraguay since I like their football (and I almost always use Paraguay in FIFA 09...soon to be the new World Cup game).

The ref is a disgrace so far. Before the game I predicted a 3-1 for Germany with Serbia scoring the first, but with 10 man that's gonna be a fking tough job. I still have faith, atleast a draw.
