David Hayter is from Canada, so there for Canada is awesome for not only lumberjacks, beavers, and funny winter hats but also they gave us SOLID FUCKING SNAKE!
Oh God you don't need to tell me its broken, I studied political sciences for my first year of college and ya, its in some tough shape; what I don't like, is our neighbours to the South having private medical care, which I'm completely against.ten.to.ten said:Canadians seem very self conscious, probably from the fact that since they border a country 10x their own size that happens to be the most culturally influential country in the world, they probably feel insecure of being overshadowed. Saying that, though, Canada is a lovely country which is very fortunate to have the political system and climate it does. It's a long story but I do get a bit upset at Canadians who call other societies backwards compared to theirs when they don't think about a country's government not always representing its people.
A mysterious specimen of overpolite folks who live in igloos and snowshovel when they don't have dog sleds to run. Of course. XDSwollen Goat said:What's a "Canada"?
Well you would know that wouldn't you? XDSassafrass said:Psst, it's just been necro'd again, mate. XDLost In The Void said:The Hell? Who necroed my thread, this thing is like a year and a half old?
Anyway, might as well say what I think of Canadians. They are awesome people who send me games as presents and I love them lots and lots. Plus they always appear charming, even when drunk. XD
Actually I wasn't talking about America (though that applies). I've had Canadians who've gone on diatribes to me about how Canadian society is so much more advanced than Australia in terms of gay rights, when 60%+ of Australians support gay marriage too, it's just that the way the political system here works, both major parties are too cowardly to touch the issue even though it has widespread support.Lost In The Void said:Oh God you don't need to tell me its broken, I studied political sciences for my first year of college and ya, its in some tough shape; what I don't like, is our neighbours to the South having private medical care, which I'm completely against.
I've never heard that myself, however one could say that Canada is leading Australia in political movement in sexual orientation equality though. That isn't to say we're better, its simply something that politicians thought would net them votes, in all likelihoodten.to.ten said:Actually I wasn't talking about America (though that applies).
