Canadians are Americans who think they're French.
Americans are Canadians that don't realise how French they are.
Both wrong, Canadians are humans from the planet Ayye (pronounced Eh?) - who barely escaped from it when the planet's international factory for Maple Syrup exploded, due to the CEO tasing a new type of Syrup which blew his mind (which in turn caused the factory to explode - causing the planet to be destroyed).

After slowly merging with the natural inhabitants known as "Indian's"; the Canadian's adapted to Earthly culture - the reason why Beaver's; Polar-Bears, and Moose are held in such high regard - is because of the early Canadian's tendency to eat them (for their lavishly wonderful meat).

Just kidding, but it's a theory.

(I'm Canadian BTW).

I have no idea where I've built this stereotype from, but I've always thought of the Canadians as easygoing, laidback, friendly kinda people. Love 'em. Never met one.

I actually visited Vancouver back in November 2008, and I enjoyed every moment of my stay there. The Canadians are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and if I ever had the chance to visit Vancouver again, I most definitely would.

Canada is literally twelve thousand times better than America.
The second I graduate from college, I'm moving to Canada.

America's hat!

In all honesty, you're an independent bunch with a certain affiliation with the French and colder climates. You have strange accents, strange laws, and an obsession with beavers and ice hockey.

Otherwise, you're cool people. And you're a HAT!

Yeah, I tip my hat to you guys. Wait a minute.......

Don't forget Tim Hortons. That place kicks ass.
Half of Canada would die off if you took that away. It's safe to say that we could call the remaining ones tourists.

Hahaha yeah now we're talking! You're getting hardcore now aren't you :D Good luck with that by the way :)
lmfao, I have no clue what that was supposed to mean - or whether it was derogatory or a compliment. So I'll just take it as a compliment and move along (then hit the bong (LOL)).

The Hell? Who necroed my thread, this thing is like a year and a half old? Though it does take me back to my more naive posting days, this now raises the question of whether or not this could incite a flame war. On topic and looking at some of the responses, it does appear to be mostly positives for the question. A few things to clear up though; we are not socialists, we are a mixed economy, but nice try. Second, where the hell is pot legal, because it sure isn't anywhere I have been in this country? After this post however, seriously guys, let this die, I hadn't even expected it to appear again, after the year and a half its been under the radar.

Oh no no it was definetly a compliment :D Seriously though, I don't hear much about you in the world news. Which is good I guess. Kinda like Sweden, I bet you don't hear much about us. But that's because we stay low and avoid trouble :)
Oh, alright; hahaha. Yeah, Canadians and people in Europe or the Netherlands generally aren't heard of all that much. I guess it's cause we all decended from hobbits - and we kept the 'Keep your nose out of trouble; and no trouble'll come to you!' thing. hahaha

But, with the way the media is set up; you ONLY hear about the negative stuff. Like murders, break ins and other stuff like that. WHY DON'T THEY SHOW US AWESOME STUFF?!?! Like, "In local news today - Bobby Blazes scored 98% on a social exam! A first for the boy.". Like, seriously - I don't know why the human race only wants to hear about the bad stuff. Bad stuff is bad. Good stuff is good.

So why is the media so FUCKED??!
(I'll perform a search; and if not created before I'll make a poll about this)

(that ones true lol) but were just like americans only we value our freedom and diversity and peace. we are proud to be canadian and love americans and every other country. and our weather is lovely too. Before I traveled to Canada over the summer I thought you all were a bunch of posh bastards who thought they were the greatest country on earth and that everyone else sucks... I spent two hours in Victoria Canada, and my God, I was wrong, mostly. Why I say that is because I walked into one of the toy stores to get something for my sister, and when I checked out the woman working the counter asked where I was from, and I told her I was from America. And she had the nerve to say: "Huh, apparently not all of you are a bunch of fat, oil guzzling bastards..." I almost flipped my shit... But the majority of them seemed nice.

Psst, it's just been necro'd again, mate. XD

Anyway, might as well say what I think of Canadians. They are awesome people who send me games as presents and I love them lots and lots. Plus they always appear charming, even when drunk. XD
