hows it react exactly?

Reactive armor is essentially a form of shaped explosive put on an armored vehicle to prevent an RPG from hitting the vehicle and piercing the armor plating protectiong the occupents. It works by detonating when an RPG round or similar object aproaches at high velocity, setting the RPG round off before it can get close enough to cause damage to the armor, usually around a foot to about 6 inches.

Imagine that, except straped to a single soldier's body armor. It would be akin to wearing a suicide vest.

that doesn't seem good on anything "hey look out a rocket! kill yourselves!"

Seriously, they use their attunement with the force to have a supernatural awareness of where their body is, in relation to the lightsaber. It's explained pretty clearly. A double bladed lightsaber would require a lot more care in its use, but using the Force, it's definitely not the most hard to believe things jedis do.

So even a Jedi's swordfighting can be chalked up to "they use the Force."

There are skill elements involved, and jedis must train in different styles for different purposes (and there are HUGE documents about each individual Form), the utilization of the force is instrumental in every single action a jedi or sith does - including the basic lightsaber use.. very very few non-force users could manage to use one - eventually they'd end up killing themselves, and that goes for regular lightsabers, let alone the larger ones.

Indeed, just look at when luke turns on a lighysaber the first time, he nearly takes off Obi's head off in the first go on it. If he didnt have the force Darth Vader and the Emperor would be your daddy no in a galaxy far far away

I vote for the gunblade

I think Kingdom Hearts one and two made the gunblade pretty sweet actually. its like seven feet long (typical anime style) and shoots. So it is both a range and a melee.

but imagine if your in a sword fight when *clash,bang,suicide*

Cracked.com did a huge section of an article about the stupidity of a gunblade. Mainly because any gun with a really long heavy sword attahed to the barrel you would need to use your second hand to hold it steady like a rifle, meaning you would slice your hand open if you tried to use both hands. Also if you stabbed someone with it the barrel would clog with bits of flesh and general people-parts.

about that... ive never seen a gunblade with an actual barrel. in real life itd jus be a gun with a huge bayonet

I guess... but my point still stands about slicing your hand open. I mean, try firing a rifle (most likely a really heavy one) accurately with one hand. your probably just gonna shoot your own teammate in the foot or something.

Supposedly, the Gunblade isn't even supposed to shoot projectiles at all. The trigger just sends a shockwave through the blade, hence the whole "press R1 for extra damage" bit. It makes it more of a viable weapon than an actual gun-sword (kinda), even if it's still horribly unwieldy.

That is why I vote for the gunblade as worst weapon idea ever, which is directly in front of the keyblade

I probably think a Keyblade is worse if only because the large majority of them are blunt. It's basically a glorified pole if you don't have magic powers. Squall got so good with his Gunblade that he never misses anyway, and you don't need magic for that.

To add to this: what's up with the Count Dooku curved Lightsaber handles? It's basically the same as the Gunblade, but with a Lightsaber. If you want to throw in the "you need Force Sensitivity to not kill yourself with a Lightsaber" argument, then that is the worst weapon for normal people to use.
