That worked perfectly for me, I don't see the problem.

'Girls like sensitive guys, be kind and sweet and give them compliments when you first meet them.'

Fast track to rejection 90% of the time.
Why does that have to be the truth? I like being a kind person. :(
Are you in a relation ship still? Not to be rude, but this doesn't really work well for me, I'm still nice, but I'm assertive now, I learned from my mistakes.
No... :(

"get her to make you a sandwich then she'll be yours for life"

That advice broke my face luckly I paid the advice back by breaking it's leg.

"Just ask her out, worst thing is she says no" from a friend about a friend I fell head over MANLY heels for.
I ignored it.
A few weeks later she hooked up with my brother and got into smoking pot.
But that was because I kept on hanging out with her and was about to make an advance when I found out she didn't like me.

And now we are not nearly as close and she has a habit of being really mean to me.

The worst she can do is say no. one of my testicles is still M.I.A.

in all seriousness "just talk to them" is what I consider the worst advice. If I could fucking do that I wouldn't be asking for advice you twat >_>
I much less profanely concur

I was super sensitive, not to the point people think I'm gay, but still pretty nice, so that killed it at school, but I started doing other stuff to make good first impressions, just try joking around and calling her crazy or weird (make it obviously not serious) NEVER INSULT HER!! Here I am giving advice on a thread about bad advice. lol but it works really well, girls never really paid any attention to me before I started talking to girls that didn't already think that I'm a pussy, trust me it works.

I've never dated anyone or allowed anyone to give me dating advice because a friend of mine who has done it all and he told me "Frank, don't date til' College. Trust me, you won't regret it..." I am the only one of my friends who hasn't been hurt in some way by someone from the opposite sex in a relationship, and I'm very happy about that.

Not really advice, but I hear a lot of girls talk about their ambitions of marriage. It just...creeps me out. You aren't even in freaking high school yet, and you want to marry your boyfriend? Your goals in life don't involve leaving this freaking town once? Sorry. That's pretty much how I reacted to one of my friends, actually. I spoke of traveling to England for a year or so, just to be away from America. And then to go back to America, and live in Seattle, a city which I absolutely love. And her dreams are going to the local community college, and marrying her boyfriend. (They broke up a month later.)

Incidentally, the same girl would try to get me into really elaborate schemes to tell the boy I liked that I liked him. (Eventually, I pulled him into the hallway and told him flat-out.) She wanted me to write a note one day, then for her to tell him, then for her to suggest it, then for her to tell him via letter. It was so stupid, I couldn't believe that it could ever matter that much.

I'm thinking about doing that. It would just make life so much simpler, and I want to focus on my schoolwork during high school. I don't think it's completely right to avoid it just because it can be painful, but there are things more important.

"Be nice to women"

.... 16 years of being nice to women. Not a single one talked to me.
1 year of being an arrogant, cocky, asshole and they wont leave me or my undergarments alone.

Women dont respect kindness. especially not in highschool through college.
Q the female trolls to claim i'm wrong.....

God damn the southern christian bible belt.

This witch totally told me to change myself just to be with this cute guy I saw once. I gave her my voice in exchange, and you know what she did? She up and tries to steal the guy away from me! Good thing my father was there to save me, or else I'd still be a fish.

And I still don't know what you use a fork for!

Yea, I know this 13 year old who wears a 'promise ring'. Apparently it means that she's going to get married to her boyfriend when they both turn 18.
There's something seriously wrong with that.

Not really advice, but still pretty damn useless. My step dad was trying to tell me how to talk to girls without being nervous. This is where it became useless. For no reason, he told me, "Whatever you do, don't get a hooker with a dick for your best friend."

Yea....he was drunk...

Heh, this. A thousand times over. You know what the "sweet, sensitive" act gets you? Statements like "You are a good friend" or "He's like a brother to me!" That's great...if you happen to not be attracted to any of the girls saying it. When you hear it every bloody time though, you start to suspect there may be something wrong with your approach.
