I haven't actually watched this but Kampfer. Imagine the sexy jutsu concept from Naruto elongated into an entire anime series and that's basically it.
Oh God help me this one!!! I think I got through half the first episode, and then there was a woman in a bunny suit squirting acid from her boobs. If you're still watching after that check yourself in to an asylum for you are clearly mad.iamthelizardqueen88 said:Queens Blade (need i say more)
So far into this thread i was thinking "Wow, i haven't watched anything really bad. Lucky me!"leumasx7 said:Samurai Deeper (Kyo).. By far the worse ever Anime... Not even related to book, except the characters names. Fight scenes skimmed changed, and forwarded into weird gay stuff.
In no uncertain terms LARGE, Plennnnnnnntiful, possibly underage BooBies, and after looking up ikki tousen I feel as if I have died a little insideSonofaJohannes said:Ikki Tousen, I've seen every season, and everytime I ask myself "Why?".
I have yet to find an answer.
Oh, and Gantz. It could have been so much more. Thank goodness hbi2k fixed that with the abridged series though.
I Think you're talking about M("A"with some dots on top)R: Marchen awakens Romance...Kalezian said:Retronana said:Anything with exceeding amounts of filler, so bleach basically. The actual meat of the story isn't bad but filler kills the quality completely.
Also I think the naruto anime is slow paced and boring :3
EDIT: Oh and prince of tennis, that is pure shit and so is the manga. I could only take it for so long :'(
I never understood how someone could make a show, let alone an ANIME about tennis.....
seriously, is there a huge fan-base for tennis in Japan or something?
OT: I cant remember the name, but it was a pretty standard "nerd gets transported to a new world and becomes awesome" anime, in the dub it had a few characters named after The Wizard of Oz, "Dorthy" and her pet "Toto", and she had a familiar or something that was a "Tin Man"
I wish I could remember the name, but it was horrible beyond belief.
.......then again, Cromarte High School [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SakigakeCromartieKoukou?from=Main.CromartieHighSchool] was a pretty weird anime in its own right.....
Yeah, they lobotomized Dante for it. (still better than Donte of the DmC reboot)PureChaos said:Devil May Cry
I hyped it to some friends of mine and they were left completely cold, so yeah :\ But that's because it's not really a story or anything like. There's no overarching plot tying things together, nothing really important going on that you should be caring about. It's just a bunch of down-on-their-luck strangers trying to get along in a world (solar system) gone to crap, set to some very cool tunes and done with some real style.simmeh said:Special mention for the most dissapointing show I've ever watched: Cowboy Bebop. When all of anime fandom promises you the moon in this show, and it turns out to be boring, shallow, and disconnected (though quite stylish), you really know what it's like to be dissapointed. It's honestly the most dissapointing thing I've ever watched, ever. It wasn't terrible, but it was far cry from the 'greatest anime of all time' like so many people tout it to be.
RE Cowboy Bebop - I was actually under the impression that it was one of those 'everyone loves it' series, and that its detractors numbered in the negatives (i.e. anyone who thought it was bad got put in a loony ward). Outside of ignorant idiots who think all anime is bad, I'm still the only person I know of who didn't like the show.SckizoBoy said:It's one of those love it or hate it series. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thought it was 'OK'. Pretty much the same with the rest of Shinichiro Watanabe-sensei's stuff.simmeh said:Special mention for the most dissapointing show I've ever watched: Cowboy Bebop. Still got Kaze no Stigma in the 'to-watch' harddrive, is it just super-power-fight anime cliche?
That sounds like Fooly Cooly and that happens to be one of my favorites.mysecondlife said:I don't remember the name but it involves a Giant robot coming out of this guy's forehead
/agreed I find myself mentally editing out those shots and trying to see how you could stitch the show together without them. And for the love of all that's watchable, lose the cartoon gun "soul" dream sequences...Abandon4093 said:You forget. the first series has one saving grace. The OVA reboot were much much better.Imperator_DK said:Not really bad in any way, but I personally did find Hellsing to be rather boring and uninteresting.
It's sound track.
It's quite possible the best sound track in existence.
And the reason it had to go off in it's own direction is because the project was having it's funding cut and I don't think Kato had gotten past his sixth novel at that point.
I still really liked that series. Despite it's odd ending and pretty bad animation. I think I prefer it to the OVA's. Alucards character is probably cooler in that than his is in the OVA's. It also doesn't have the annoying bursts of abstract humour that the manga series was prone to.
That's one thing I never got about some animes. They could be trying to be as serious as possible. Then they'd all suddenly shrink in size and start wiggling around like worms on acid, making daft noises and over exaggerating everything.
I think the OVA would have benefited from dropping that. Or just shoving them at the end of the episode like the first series did.
