Wolf's Rain
Inuyasha-God damn, drag on much will you?
Samurai Champloo-I just couldn't get into it
Reign the Conqueror-What in the hell was this?
Code Geass-For being ANOTHER giant robot anime
Cowboy Bebop was good the first time thru, but they just showed it over and over and over
Naruto-I really tried to like it, but it just grated on me after a while
Big O-Same reason as CB
Paranoia Agent-Didn't really ever get it
Bo-bo-bo-Was there ever a plot here? I couldn't stay interested in random little diversions
Pretty much any Gundam after the first one

One that made absolutely no sense whatsoever, to me at least, was one, I think it was called Code Geass. It seemed kind of like a Gundam ripoff, but less straightforward. Oh, and there were witches and mind control.
Code Geass is more Similar to Death Note than anything else, because the emphasis is more on the characters than the mecha. I liked it overall but I think in the second season at times they were pulling ideas out of their arse.

A shame you couldn't get into Champloo.

Code Geass was more centred around the characters, the Mecha played such a small part in comparison to the characters it almost wasn't a mecha anime.

A shame you watched Bebop on t.v., they rape anime shows like that.

Also I wonder if there is anoyne who watched Pokemon when they were any older than 14? It's hardly the worst anime that ever graced the earth. Granted you watch it now and you will hate it, but it's aimed at children, it's a different audience altogether, so you can't really put it in league with some of the best.

And I think we are going to have to do a favourite anime thread again, because people seem to hate everything nowadays. ;¬D

Naruto, followed closely by Ghost in the Shell (only seen the movies, I don't know if there's more?).

At least GitS was visually appealing. Naruto.. Ow. Hurts all the senses.
Why did you hate ghost in the shell?

What's there to get with Samurai Champloo? It's some awesome sword-swinging action with solid stories and rap done right, which is unfortunately the exception, not the rule.

Cowboy Bebop is hardly bad because you didn't stop watching it repeat on the telly, that's your own problem.

Big O is meant to be like a dystopian future only no one knows it (if I remember correctly)... I personally enjoyed it. Though the main character having to yell "Big O!" all the time was a little embarrassing.

Bo-Bo-Bo's entire point was randomness, though apparently it worked better unedited and undubbed by Americans.

Well I gotta second Bo-Bo-Bo. Yes it's random, but it's...too random, it's not-funny-anymore random. Invader Zim did randomness right (watched a few episodes after hearing all the praise about it), Bo-Bo-Bo did not.
And ofcourse all the latest Pokemon series, those are just plain bad, everything is repeated into oblivion (Team Rocket aren't just dumb villains, they're dumb villains with Alzheimers), the animation quality is pure crap and the Pokemon themselfs are really getting out of hand.

I've stopped reading at the fourth page, since I got sick of seeing half the posts just saying "lolNarutosucks", so I have no idea if this has been mentioned more than once, but my vote goes to The Getbackers. Awesome manga, horrid anime.

I gotta go with the extremely overrated Naruto.

It feels like a whole bunch of badly developed characters not acting like ninjas. The action is crappy the story is crappy and the animation is OK at best.

Edit: By the way count the "best" version of the anime you select. Crappy Dub Job does not constitute an anime being bad.
i hate Naruto. And just to add in, my favorite, and in fact only one is Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
May I ask why you hate Naruto, and not DBZ? Yeah, I'm calling people out now.
Naurto is dumb. No 12 year olds are that incredibly awesome at martial arts or anything else or that matter. And DBZ while I can see how it could turn people off, I did enjoy the combat scenes and the story. But some of the power ups can be drawn out and pointless.
Look, I enjoy the storyline and characters more so than in Naruto. That doesn't mean that nobody should like, but I don't. Obviously you can't apply real life logic to an anime.

Probably Bleach. The story was pointless and kind of obvious and there were so many characters to remember,I never managed to remember all the names from the Shinigami council.

Record of lodoss war for me, I just found it criminally dull. I don't watch vast amounts of animé, I know there are probably many more worse things but that one seems one of the worst I've seen. At least Naruto had a couple of likeable characters.

Wait wait wait, so Naruto is dumb because you applied real life logic to a fictional animated show? (which, by the way, isn't true at all about 12 year olds) What stops me from saying that DBZ is dumb because no one can fly, and yet they are doing so in the show?
That post is...somewhat confusing. Fair enough you like the characters and storyline more, but to me, by saying 'no 12 year olds are that incredibly awesome at martial arts or anything else for that matter' made me think you were applying logic to an anime. I also couldn't leave alone the fact that Gohan was around 4 or 5 years old at the start of DBZ, and 11 years old when he was fighting Cell. Just thought I'd put that out ;¬D

Also could you fix the quote please, as it looks like I said what you said.

Wait do you mean the anime? If so would you like to tell me it please? Because I would like to know how I missed a plot so obvious.

Page 2, and I couldn't agree more with you. My rant was said already on that page, but what the hell were they thinking?

Also do people die in the manga? Because they take so much care not to kill anyone in the anime it's a joke.

I just don't like Naruto. I've seen it and it just didn't appeal to me. And I did fix my quote. And I was kidding about the 12 year old comment because technically Gohan is like 6 when he fights just about evenly with Freeza in one scene.

Heh, it's cool I'm not complaining about your dislike of Naruto at all any more, also as far as I can see, the post hasn't been fixed (the part where you say you know you can't apply real life logic to an anime) or am I just looking at the wrong post? Oh well.

The one thing I hate about all animes, because all animes do this, is the fact that they over emphisise on movement and/or emotion. Watch an episode of Pokemon and you'll see what I'm talking about, particurally during battles and surprising moments which is pretty much all the time.

But, aside from that, the girls in Pokemon and Naruto are easy on the eyes and I'll wager that SOME of you have had some impure thoughts directed toward them if you catch my drift.

to be brutally honest, all modern/new anime is all bullshit.
there was a period in the late 80's/ 90's/ early 200's when anime was good. now it's all aimed at kids. there's not plot and the action is toned down
no it's not all aimed at kids. about the plot and action, I know nothing of 80's anime but given this and the first point, what tells me you're watching dubs?
What tells me you haven't watched dubs in the past 10 years?
I honestly have no clue. you're wrong so you're not psychic.....hm...

that's abaraii, and I forget his other name but maybe that's why every character gets reffered to by 2 names. The teenager with the sword has yellow or maybe orange hair.
