Luckily having not seen the Tekken movie I need not list it.
But then, I've seen something else that almost makes up (down?) for that:
Ninja Ressurection
Orginally marketed as the sequel to Ninja Scroll but actually has nothing to do with it. Besides this bit of miss-marketing it is also bad. Really, really bad. For your own sake avoid this thing, there's not even any sarcastic laughs to be had here.

No wasted episodes? Seriously? The first series has a beach ep, a shopping ep, a christmas ep, a hotsprings ep. They're all filler, story goes nowhere, characters don't change, status quo is retained. It's been a while since I saw it and I only saw the first season but I particularly remember being annoyed at its slow pace.
I definately agree this series gets too much flak. What it is is mediocre, probably a bit better. Frankly its the people telling others that the series is 'godly' that makes others mark it down. Same goes for Evangelion. I think it also gets a lot of criticism for what the series represents; Gonzo's breakthrough. Its the series that opened the floodgates to the mountain of dung that studio has produced.
