I think it was called Tank Police or something. I was watching it round my friends house after a substantial amount of "special cake" and quite a few beers, and it was the most hilariously bad thing I've ever seen. I think some hospital got nuked by some tank and then somebody got raped or something... it was dubbed badly so I had not idea what was happening.

Oh you know what? shut the hell up. Only idiots say "all anime sucks", although to be fair you'd be a bigger idiot to say "all anime kicks ass"

YuGiOh GX or whatever, a spin-off on something already terrible. Sad face.

Okay fine. If it says "Unedited" or "Uncut" I am not watching it.

I dont remember what the title was... though it was pretty self explanatory... maybe my brain is just trying to protect me from recalling it...

It was something about a robot angel girl from the future who carried a giant mace... Typical Ecchi humor.

Guy walks into his room, sees girl changing, tries to apologize but girl quickly bludgeons him in the face, then hilarity ensues as the whole world laughs and i die a little more inside.

Mace wielding... robot angel girl... from the future... my brain wants to quit even writing this.

I see a lot of posts here that I don't get. Lots of FMA, Bleach and Naruto. X.x Bleach and Naruto...typical shounen jive, overrated...but not bad. FMA is Godly...no wasted episodes...which is impressive considering there are 52...

I can understand someone thinking these things are overrated. That's all just a matter of opinion. But worst you've ever seen?

There's a HUGE difference between what's overrated and what's just plain bad. The worst anime for me would be...well, geez...can't choose just one...

Tekken: The Motion Picture (Barf)
Eiken (Double Barf)
Pilot Candidate (Generic and with no real ending)
Gravion Zwei (Triple Barf)
Weiss Kreuz (Quadruple projectile barf)

Remember, if you hate something just because it's 'overrated'...more than likely, you'd never be so critical if less people swooned over it.

Doesn't make sense to me. Anime is just Japanese animation in general. S'like saying all American television sucks. Different anime are as different as can be. Watch Kaiji or Akagi if you don't buy it.

Luckily having not seen the Tekken movie I need not list it.

But then, I've seen something else that almost makes up (down?) for that:

Ninja Ressurection

Orginally marketed as the sequel to Ninja Scroll but actually has nothing to do with it. Besides this bit of miss-marketing it is also bad. Really, really bad. For your own sake avoid this thing, there's not even any sarcastic laughs to be had here.

No wasted episodes? Seriously? The first series has a beach ep, a shopping ep, a christmas ep, a hotsprings ep. They're all filler, story goes nowhere, characters don't change, status quo is retained. It's been a while since I saw it and I only saw the first season but I particularly remember being annoyed at its slow pace.

I definately agree this series gets too much flak. What it is is mediocre, probably a bit better. Frankly its the people telling others that the series is 'godly' that makes others mark it down. Same goes for Evangelion. I think it also gets a lot of criticism for what the series represents; Gonzo's breakthrough. Its the series that opened the floodgates to the mountain of dung that studio has produced.

Project A-Ko is the absolute worst anime ever made. The very memory of this series is painful, so even those who have seen it block it from thought. Here is a synapsis of the first OVA

A-Ko is a high school student. She has super powers and super strength with no explanation, and the animation style makes it difficult to tell if she is really super powered or if its just a visual gag. She has a voice which is painful to hear

B-Ko is A-Ko's best friend. She doesn't do anything. She is small and very dumb, she has the worst voice imaginable.

C-Ko is a new student at A-Ko and B-Ko's school. She is a lesbian who wants B-Ko, but B-ko rejects C-Ko, so C-Ko decides she needs to kill A-Ko in order to win B-Ko.

C-Ko builds robots to do battle with A-Ko, but A-ko uses her super powers to win. Nobody seems to notice the super power robot fights, and A-ko is in trouble for being late for school because of the fights.

C-ko decides to build an exoskelaton, which covers less than 1/10th of her body, and uses it to do battle with A-ko. During the fight C-ko explodes the school. Then suddenly alien space ships show up. The space ships are filled with "Women that look like men", or in other words disturbingly muscular woman with facial hair. The space men/women abduct B-Ko because they think she is their space queen for some reason. A-Ko and C-Ko team up to save B-Ko. A-Ko fights the queen of the space men/women and makes the space fortress crash. In the 3rd OVA the space queen turns the crashed ship into a restuarant which is quickly destroyed by another A-Ko Vs C-Ko brawl.

Whatever you do don't watch this. Its enough to make you wish Anime didn't exist.

...Hotsprings ep? When? I don't remember that...nor do I remember a beach ep...or a Christmas ep. There may been episodes taking place around the time of Christmas, but that's about it. Shopping ep...well, I remember in one episode they went shopping for towels...but only for a brief time near the beginning of the episode. FMA has no filler! Each episode does something to characterize or significantly advance the plot. There's some comedy relief, but nothing I'd call 'filler'.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor (TV series). There are apparently a lot of people who love it, I'm not really sure why. Sure, some things are amusing, but the bulk of this series is just so extremely dull and unnecessary that I never even managed to bother re-watching it once... and I paid retail price for the DVD box.
