Honestly, Lucien from Fable 2 was a huge letdown
My favorite bosses were the ones from the original Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Activision had creativity and good moderate difficulty, except with primagen. Anyone who regenerates sucks

Wrexsoul from Final Fantasy VI. He took residence in one of your party members, and you have to kill one of your party members to get him out. You don't know which it is though, so you're constantly killing your own party.
Ummmmm........ I REAAAAALLLLY have to disagree on that one. In fact that is possibly the easiest boss in that game besides siegfried (maybe not his name but sounds about right) on the ghost train. Especially because if you have the magic "vanish" use it immediately on the two ghost/ whatever things and fights over.

Edit:I can't remember the name of the magic (because i havent played that game in god-knows how long) but the one that sucks ur enemies into a black hole
I play the GBA version, and I think that exploit was fixed.
I have the gba version (There's a different version???????) and it works try it out sometime

I do believe the "boss" for Fable 2 is a noted example of suckatude.

You walk up to a guy with a mcguffin and either blast him in the chest with a pistol or wait for Stephen Fry to do it.
Yep worst boss fight.

Evrae Altana from Final Fantazy X. It sucked so much that I can remember it's name and I can't on any other boss. All you have to do is throw 2 phoenix downs at it. For those of you who have been living in a hole and haven't played a Final Fantasy, it's as easy as going to item then pressing phoenix down, twice. The bloody thing dies before it can hit you.o_O

I'd say the worst boss fight I've ever slugged through was in Final Fantasy X. Seymour Guado on Mt. Gagazet. I had to repeat that fight so many times. Obnoxious. T_T

Colonel Autumn from Fallout 3.

That guy was supposed to be your final enemy? really? A regular enclave soldier with NO ARMOR and a laser pistol? Not even any backup boss like robots controlled by him, or a mutant behemoth crashing through the wall or anything that at least looks like a challenge?

There was once a PS1/2 (can't remember) Pac-man 3d platformer, the first boss was a giant robotic frog...yeah that's right.. and a thought bubble genuinely appeared, featuring the words "I hope he doesn't jump on my tongue" That, dear friends is more obvious than a flashing orange weakspot, if such a thing is possible.... ugh

Anything from the Force Unleashed, which are essentially quick-time events. It might not have even been that bad if they'd decided to have a different animation, but having to whittle down massive health bars by doing the same thing over and over again about twelve times transcends being repetitive.

You are doing it wrong, that is not a boss fight, it's a choice. In fact I do not recall Fallout 3 having boss fights at all.
That's what I'm saying.

You want a climactic boss fight? Try Turok for the 360...... Fighting a mutant t-rex with a bow surrounded by lava. EPIC lol
Shame the rest of the game sucked ass...
In my opinon, of course.

Gotta be lucien from Fable 2, I mean, they could have at least let me use some kickass spell instead of a crappy pistol.

Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but Lucien in Fable 2. i was incredibly powerful...... and then i shoot that wuss with a pistol. YAY CLIMACTIC!
/quote]

I too Don't like to be on the bandwagon,in fact I enjoy being the one that stands out, But I think it's Unanimous that the "Boss fight" in Fable 2 sucks. To be honest I'm not sure you can call it a boss fight, or even a fight for that matter, I got all prepared for a Decent Boss fight and what we got is "Press the trigger button to win".

I was so mad I looked up fight in the dictionary to see if it Qualified,I don't think so.
Here's what it said,What do you Guises/Girls think?
(my opinion is in () and in red.
1: to contend in battle or physical combat ; especially : to strive to overcome a person by blows or weapons
( 1.What battle? 2. There was no physical combat.)
2: to put forth a determined efforttransitive verb1
(does standing there saying "you can't beat me"and"you will fail" count?}
(a): to contend against in or as if in battle or physical combat
(no and....No)
(b): to attempt to prevent the success or effectiveness of
(well the whole point of the story was to prevent the success or effectiveness of his plan,so I would call that a no)
(c): to oppose the passage or development of
(no)
(d): wage, carry on
(no)
3: to struggle to endure or surmount
(I didn't need to do anything more then fire my gun at him ones,I didn't even have to aim!)
a: to gain by struggle
(no struggle)
b: to resolve by struggle
(NO!)
c: to manage in an unnecessarily rough or awkward manner
(oh,it was Awkward!)

To me I think the "boss fight" is just something they didn't have time to make decent.

(like in most of my posts this is just my opinion,so feel free to disagree with it,just do it in a personal message not a post.)

I once played this Spiderman game (I don't remember which one) and there was a part where you walked into a convenience store and saw Mysterio. An epic cutscene ensued, and at the end of the cutscene, they let you take over at controls, as with all boss fights in the game. I punch him once and he turns into a puff of smoke. Fight over.
spiderman 2
and it was supposed to be funny

The worst final boss I have ever played was Andross (again!) at the end of Starfox Adventures. Also if you save just before you fight him, you can not leave the temple, your stuck there forever!
But what is there to do really? Starfox Adventures didn't really have much other than the main game to it.
Yeah I know, wasn't the greatest game in the world. However I think you could go through asteroid fields and even verse the first 2 dino bosses again if you really wanted to.

TheEndIsNear5115 said:
The Andross fight was nowhere near as bad as the previous boss fight in Star Fox Adventures, the one with General Scales. You don't even fight him! You're set up for this climactic fight against the primary antagonist of the story, only to have the game yank the controller out of your hand as soon as you attack him so it can take over for you. Fucking ridiculous.
Well you can't really call that a fight since it didn't happen but I would of liked to kick his head in.
