Red Dead Redemption.
It didn't help that the multiplayer was painfully boring to begin with, given you only have bandit hideouts to clear and that's about it for activities (and the experience system is SLOW), but there are also a lot of plain dicks who will spawn camp and roam around in groups (on their fucking zebras or buffalo or whatever it is they've had the patience to unlock) and who will shoot you pretty much on sight, despite the fact that you get virtually no xp for killing other players. I struggled through for a bit, contemplated buying the DLC and then thought "no, if the multiplayer needs DLC to be any good it doesn't deserve my money". My last action online was to find a group of dicks, shoot one in the head with a rifle, shoot another with a repeater, steal the first one's zebra and ride off into the sunset while the other three tried to give chase.
Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of PvP and part of the experience with games like RDR is deciding whether to trust another player not to kill you when your back is turned. But I really cannot stand people who just pilfer that by killing everyone regardless of intent.
