I spent about £4 on Star Ocean: The Lost Hope. It wasn't worth a single damn penny of it.

My mom bought me DJ Hero for around $130 or so...I am so sorry about that. :/
Yeah, as much as I loved DJ Hero, it's not worth the full retail price. I (luckily) found it on Play.com for the ridiculously low price of £30, which I'd say is bargain for what you get.

All games these days want you pay hundreds of dollars if you want to play the game with relatives... i have to buy 2 copies of a game if i want to play on lan with my lil bro... and shit it doesn't support lan anymore... it's all dedicated servers & matchmaking... what happened to good ol' lan play...other than that... most multiplayer games you buy these days tend to screw you/us/we the consumers over... single player experiences are a different story.

Well...the only game I've ever paid 60 bucks for was RED DEAD REDEMPTION, and that game was outstanding. So technically it's the best, worst, and only.

New games for consoles cost about $100 in Norway, a price I paid for Alone in the Dark. Really not worth it, and I wonder if I'll ever get around to finishing it..

Soul Calibur 4

I paid full price for it, and was really disappointed. I've was a fan of the series since the original Soul Blade, and that game had better story telling than SC4.

I buy few games at the 60 price tag. I usually wait for the price to go down or buy used unless its a game I know I'll like. Although it wasn't sixty bucks I paid full price for Sniper: Ghost Warrior. Good concept. Terrible execution. Nothing takes the fun out of being a sniper like being spotted a mile away in a guillie suit lying still in a bush and then being killed by lazer accurate AK-47 fire. And the Delta missions... Calling them shit would be a compliment. Sniper 2 was announced and hopefully its a better game considering they revamped the game for the PS3.

Vampire Rain. Across six consoles and two hand-helds, that was the worst game I have ever bought or played. The graphics and and controls were fairly decent but the writing, the gameplay and everything else sucked hard. I returned it less than two weeks after buying it.
Oh God, this a million times over. My brother and I usually split our games, I bought this one for him to play, after playing the first level I suddenly felt so ashamed and horrified at the piece of shit I just bought.

When I bought halo reach on pre order. I thought that it was going to be a decent follow-up from halo 3 but, I was just shocked by how f-ing retarded the game was. Plus I thought that the forge system was pretty stupid too (even though I spent like 14+ hrs on a race map and had fun). Over all it isn't the worst game I ever played (i glance over at vanquish and shudder) but it was the worst game I ever bought full price.

In all honesty, I don't think I've ever payed that much for a game and been thoroughly disappointed, but I guess if I had to choose my biggest "buyer's regret" game-wise, I'd definitely choose Brutal Legend. I've never returned a game in my life out of such sheer disgust.

1. This looks interesting, a dragon on the cover!
2. Wait a minute...the main character becomes more elven the more he rides a dragon? This sounds like some sort of uber Mary Sue...

4. FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

OT: I bought my friend a Wii set, complete with game controllers for around $60 on eBay. My friend calls me back to thank me, but also needed help with the controls:

"How do you use this thing?" he asks, having never seen a controller in his life (he's a friend of my grandma's), "It's shaped like a silver bullet. There are no buttons or anything."

I agree to take a look at it the next time I'm over at the Home...

The person who posted it on eBay replaced the Wii controllers with vibrators.

Not only did I pay full price, but I pre-ordered Crackdown 2. The first one was just so much fun....."how could they possibly screw it up?" I thought. Apparently by removing ALL the unique bosses, making the game the same two missions over and over again, adding boring-to-fight zombies, not changing the map at all, not changing the graphics at all...it really seems like they did everything they could to ensure it would suck.

I wanted to cry.

EDIT- And I honestly forget if I paid full price for it (pretty sure I didn't...) but my god, The Last Remnant is right down there with Crackdown 2 on "worst games I've ever played" list. And bare in mind, I played/bought that when I still liked JRPGs, though that game was probably one of the last nails in the coffin.
