What?! Valve have been my favorite company since.. forever.. They always deliver original and interesting content for their games, i rank them at the top of my list for gaming.

OT i must say EA have the worst record for me, terrible support, abandoned games, bad compatability and even worse optimization. All of my experiences are the command and conquer online refusing to let me connect to people, resulting in many rage-uninstalls, if it exists

And Planetside.

Gigantic One-Manned flying Robots with constantly recharging shields and double the firepower of the heaviest in-game tank that allowed even the worst players to dominate veterans ten times their skill level? That sure didn't unbalance the game to the point where 3/4 of the population left in disgust, jackasses.

Seen a couple bashing Treyarch. That cause of CoD? Because it's not that bad :/

Co-op w/Nazi Zombies - Fresh and they're releasing maps for it.
Multiplayer - Sucks if you do. Pretty much it.
Singleplayer - Mediocre I guess, but enjoyed torching everything with the flamethrower heh

Ok..., sounds like you just got tired of playing their games to me. Doesn't make them a bad developer, just makes you tired of the same old same old.

I suggest getting a beefy PC and modding the crap out of those games. (Especially Oblivion, Vanilla is unbearable after playing its modded counterpart).

I don't know man, no amount of mods can save Oblivion for me...maybe I'll forgive FO3 eventually, we will see. Just to clarify though I am firmly on the 'didn't change enough' camp.

Really no mods? No OOO mod? Not even Better Cities mod? The Lost Spires? Kvatch Rebuilt? RenGuardOverhaul? 28 Days(The most weird mod I ever played for Oblivion, Medieval zombie apocalypse goodness nom nom nom.)?The Gates of Aeesgard(or something)? Let the People Drink? Commun Oblvion?Unofficial Oblivon Patch? Babs? Choises and Consequences?Tamriel Travellers? Those combat enhancers mods which name I forgot?

Really none?

If it needs that many to make it worth playing then surely on its own merit Oblivion isn't a very good game.

I'd say that the ease of modding it more than makes up for its flaws, and I can't think of another developer that has created tools allowing for mods of that scale and diversity.

I can think of one: Valve.
