Worst movie ending in your opinion.
Does it have to be movie endings? Because the end of the Sapranos was extremely pathetic.
They did it in case they were going to continue the series, but we know they won't.

I think No Country for Old Men had a horrible ending. They need some kind of conclusion, but decided to be cool like the Sopranos.

I personally like both the graphic novel and the film of Watchmen, and I prefer the film's ending. Makes more sense. In my opinion, of course. This is one that tends to divide people.

OT: Righteous Kill was pretty bad. You could see the "twist" coming within the first 10 minutes. I kept thinking, there has to be something more. There has to be. There's no way they could be that obvious. And yet...they were.

Oh, or how about that awful adaptation of Lost in Space? Can we keep sequel cliff-hangers out of movies destined to never see an actual sequel? Even if you're confident your film is a masterpiece, give it a resolution, people. You can leave one or two MINOR threads open so you have some options, but tie up the main plot and most important subplots so people don't wonder why they've spent 2 hours watching a film that ends in the middle.

And another one that demands recognition is the remake of Planet of the Apes. I'm a fan of the original 5 fans, and I hated this one. The effects were decent, but the story just got stupid. And the ending...gah. It was mindscrewy just for the sake of it, without actually making any sense at all. Annoying. I love twist endings, but have them make sense. Please.

The Harry Potter movies went to shit after the second one.

I see more than my fair share of Harry Pothead, and I can tell you one thing for sure, as soon as Dumbledore died (and I mean the first actor) things immediately descended into garbage.

I recently saw the half-blood prince, and when it ended, I couldn't believe that was it.

The Italian Job. It could do one of two simple things:

1) Fall
2) Somehow miraculously survive.

But no. It HAD to finish balanced on the cliff edge. Brilliant if you're going to make a sequel, but they never bloody did
yeah that was a pretty bad ending i shall agree with you! i like the original much better than the 2003 remake

Oldboy. Anyone who's seen this Korean movie (there's an American remake in the works, shudder) will simply nod their head at that one.

I can't see everything leading UP to the ending, because the ending tainted the whole movie for me. Gaaah.

The whole film I kept thinking "This is shit." And THEN the stupid stunts with the motorcycle started, and I completely lost interest in anything else the film had to say. And the plot? What plot? If you can locate a plot in the shipwreck they call a film, I would give you my house.

I first saw it when I was a kid, and I thought it was the shit. Now I realize that it's just plain shit.

Cool World.

Nearly everyone in the theater walked out before the film was over. There was a line at the box office of people demanding their money back from the theater manager.

I saw a film a couple of years ago with John Cusack in it. I think it was called Mirrors. They spent the entire film trying to make it atmospheric and jumpy and then ended it with an over the top bossfight with a haunted nun or some crap. How i laughed.
