Manos: The hands of fate. It's arguably the worst movie ever made, and I think a part of me died while I was watching it.
You didn't watch it raw, did you? You watched it on Mystery Science Theater 3000 right? I don't think you could even find it in plain form anywhere. MST3K or RiffTraxx are the A1 sauce of movies. Makes anything palatable.
Of course! Although you can get it off amazon, but god knows who would want to.

Watchmen.

I know I'm proably gonna get flamed for this but I don't care. I just could not get into it. I mean the comedian and Rosarch were both awsome but Nightowl,Ozymandis and that girl whose name I can't remeber becuase she didn't have a stupid looking costume, all looked incredibly dumb and had horrible actors playing them.

My biggest complaint was the sex scene. I just went "Really?". They movie just dragged on and on and then one minute there rescuing people from a fire and then BOOM! What just happened and why are those two fornicating? After seeing that scene I was kinda shocked they didn't throw in the whole "Bow-Chika-Wow-Wow!" Thing.
read the book instead

Just about everything by M.Night Shyamalan apart from the 6th Sense.

But I particularly disliked the Village. I could see the 'twist' a mile off, and what REALLY stank was the lead character, a blind girl who could negotiate a dense woodland with huge holes, and not so much as bump into a tree, yet she needed to feel around for the step right outside her front door. DUMB

Lady in the Water was also piss poor. I nearly wet myself laughing at the end!

Revenge of the Fallen. Granted, I generally avoid movies that are known to suck, but yes, out of the ones I've seen, this one is a bottom-feeder.

Can I just start and say there's like a bajillion worse things than Twilight. It's an insipid uninspiring movie about every tween girl's fantasy but that's why it's popular and I can understand where they come from.. It's just.. You needa be a lonely tween girl or been one to love it I think.
Also Vampire baseball is lame. I'll also add I actually sorta liked the movie better than the book as it introduced you to the bad guys at the beginning instead of randomly at the end. You also don't realise just how much of a cow Bella is to her friends in the movie, so she's more likable.

Anyway, my worst movies!
Uh.. list is too long.

Eragon - What happens when your original story writer just wants money and REALLY doesn't give a crap about what you do with their stuff.

Donnie Darko - This movie just annoyed me on so many levels. If they all fell off a cliff I really wouldn't of cared. Actually, I might of been happy.

Meet the Spartans - OMG.. seriously. I think I smiled once. I don't mind Date Movie and I've not really seen any of the other 'movies' aside from the Scarey ones. But this was an atrocious 'comedy'. I think the bad impersonations that took me a few minutes to realise who they were din't help.

The Happening - I ranted at anyone who would listen for AGES about this atrocious piece of.. gah. Bad acting, unbelievable actions, terrible dialogue and soooo many friggin plot holes it was amazing it managed to stick together. Then there's the gratuitous violence. Okay, honestly, I don't mind brains blowing up, blood and gore (I like the Saw movies), but you're trying to make a -scarey- atmosphere give the audience some friggin credit to use their imaginations on what happens to people. It's storytelling 101! You can't show/tell someone stuff anywhere near as scarey as the things people will see in their head given a situation.
M Night Shaymalan needs his backside stappled to a chair for 10years to try and think up a decent story again before being allowed to make another movie. All of them since The 6th Sense have been getting decidedly worse.
If he ruins Avatar The Last Airbender there will be no forgiveness.

Knocked Up - Someone's probably gonna hurt me for this, but I don't care. I do not find a bunch of 30something year old losers who spend their entire time sitting around, playing games and getting high to be funny. I know this is a gamer site and hey, people like that. But damn, this is not something to aspire to, play games but have a life with some purpose at the same time. None of the jokes were funny, at all.. Well, other than one where he threatens the doctor. But one moment out of an hour and half.. bleah.

No Country for Old Men - Or almost anything the Coen Brothers make I just don't like. I like a story that doesn't make me feel that after two and a half hours or whatever amount of time that I could of sat at a bus stop and watched the people around me and gotten a more fulfilling story. I want those two hours of my life BACK. PLEASE. If it weren't for the half hour or so of scenes the serial killer was in (he deserved that Oscar, he was one of the coolest dudes I've seen in cinema) I would regret having ever seen that movie.

Crash - Grumpy people all complaining about race and racism while being extremely racist on their own and eh.. School made me see it.

Brokeback Mountain - And no, not because 'OMG!1!! GAY COWBOYS EWWW!!1!!' But because I really didn't care about the characters, the 'cinematography' that got praised to the heavens did NOT impress me and the ending was obvious. ..these last three movies are all big winners that bored me, it's a theme! Woo!

Also.
People, High School Musical, seriously? Did you not realise it was a musical? And a DISNEY musical at that? And modern Disney, as in super squeaky clean we're all super PC Disney who can't offend anyone and are here to make as much money as we can pump out of parents Disney?
I actually rather liked it.. though the fact the movie is called High School MUSICAL and the entire movie is about them only even going to -try out- for the parts made me got WTF. That and the creepy relationship between the brother/sister 'badguys' was kinda.. Huh? For a Disney film

Anyone see the latest friday the 13th - what an utter pile of gash? Although what is left to be done with that series - he had already been in space! Jason goes tropical?

Worst film I have ever seen? It's called the tunnel, and I have tried to watch it twice and never got to the end.

If antone wants to know a good film I watched recently.... FORTRESS!

Watching the Sci-Fi channel I came across the worst movie in existence:
Zombie Town.
At the end, it turns out the zombies die if they touch water.
Like, wtf?

I'd say Crank: High Voltage. The movie simply didn't know what it wanted to be. I just know i didn't want to watch it. Until of course, the Kaiju monster fight. Not only that, but seriously, the man makes out with an oriental hooker while on fire and the old school imperial japanese flag superimposes itself in the background. Nevermind, this is probrably the best movie ever made. But absolute worst, hmm... YOU GOT SERVED. I'm not going to bother saying the convoluted circumstances that brought me to watching this ocular atrocity, just know that I am less of a man for having seen it, and so are you if you did too.

Question though, what's with all the hate towards the transformers movies? I mean they're not high theatre by any stretch, but were you really expecting that? S They're movies based off of a line of fucking kid's toys. Were you really wanting something shakespearian? The movies are damn good for what they are, summer popcorn flicks with lots of bang zoom to go with it. Hell, that's what big, dumb, action movies do, act big and dumb. So it's got plot holes and a few racially insensitive characters, who gives a flyin fuck when two robots are smashing the shit out of each other, and lets face it, that's what you're there to see. Those movies delivered in spades, so really what's the problem?

Moviebob's looking for you...

They're crap. They don't deliver. They're boring, they're loud, they're stupid, they're chores. Abominations.

I watched one called "The Rage"

Google it, try and find it online but for the love of god do NOT buy it.

You will laugh your ass when you actually see how bad it is, and it's supposed to be serious.

If you read the book of No Country for Old Men you probably wouldn't like that either;
the Coen brothers literally adapted the book from page to the screen flawlessly; the story itself is about how crime has changed, its not just cops and robbers anymore, the criminals are deadlier, smarter and faster (Chigurh, the killer and the mexican drug smugglers) and the cops are just getting older and slower, and unable to keep pace with the criminals.

I digress, I'm a bit of a Coen-brothers geek, but I would say watch any Coen Brothers movie at least twice and see if you don't like it (they specialize in emphasizing non-sequitarian one-liners as humor),
i.e. in the Big Lebowski, when Walter suddenly gets on a tangent about Nazis when he hears that The Big Lebowski is being ransomed by German Nihilists
"At least say what you want about the tenants of national socialism, at least its an ethos."
I dunno, but their humor is just something I get, I dunno if you just don't like that kinda humor or are one of those unfortunate souls who watched the movie once and left in puzzlement because you didn't get it; watch the movie again and you'll find yourself enjoying it more the 2nd time.

Oh! and my least favorite movie
The Da Vinci Code was an awful, overhyped POS
Transformers 2
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
oh man, there's just so much stuff already here, i agree with many on here, so I'll just leave with my 2 cents.

Depends what you mean by a bad movie really. There's relatively bad, and absolutely bad. Movies have expectations, usually due to resources available to make it and/or hype, and these come off far worse in your mind. I mean, although Cutthroat Island or Pearl Harbour are better films in almost every way than your average Uwe Boll or late era Steven Seagal movie, you hate them just that bit more.

In absolute terms, let's go for "The Blood On Satan's Claw", a completely incompetent horror film made in the 1970s. However, I'd much prefer to pour scorn on films like Gigli, Showgirls, or The Blair Witch Project.

High School musical.
GOOD GOD!
I thought it would never end.
Some guy at disney made some really crap movie that he admitted was crap, just to make a quick buck from some kids who would probally want it.
Now its an international sensation.
It seems that if directors say their movies are great, no one likes them.
If they say their crap. Everyone loves them.

Im actually doing my own awards show at the end of this year which was inspired by the bad movies that are coming out as of late, Im gona call it the Mickies first annual awards night and going to give out awards to the worst of the worst in different categories, havnt worked out everything yet but i have a few months to do it, but anyway the whole idea was inspired by how bad the Spirit was, seriously, i will generally love most things Samuel L "Mother Fucking" Jackson is in, but not this, brutal from start to finish.

I'm gonna go with Public Enemies. It was terrible, awful, really bad, and any other words to that effect. Only movie ever that I have actually almost fallen asleep to. I'd rather watch the boring parts of Titanic (all of it) twice that watch that drivel again. I almost walked out of the theatre that I was watching it in because it was so absolutely boring.

Bring it on and any other 'teenage' film. I hate them with a passion, especially the American pie movies.

However nothing can compare to the movies that are coming out at the moment that are basically stealing ideas from other movies and trying, but epically failing to make them funny.

They. make. me. soo. angry.
