They may not subconsciously be trying to fit in, but when people rant and rave about how shitty the books and movies are, when they've never seen or read them. That's called ignorance.

If you have, then I have no problem with you. That's called forming your own opinion and that's perfectly okay.

Also, none of those people are 'good vampires', because vampires aren't real. Those are actors that played the role they were assigned, a role which either does or doesn't fit with what you'd like to imagine a made up creature is like. Also, it's Robert Pattinson. He just got paid to play the role, and as the character was defined, did a fairly good job.

Saying Stephanie Meyer butchered the vampire is silly, because like I said, they aren't real. She changed the concept to something of her own choosing, hence, fantasy.

Saying this, I too prefer the more classical idea of a 'vampire', but can also appreciate modern adaptations such as True Blood and the Anita Blake series, etcetera. Twilight was in no means amazing, but it's not the bubonic plague either.

yes i do hate the series with a passion however im saying if multiple people hate one thing then you would back up your argument with that which is why i included the friends and south park parts.
Yes, I suppose one could.

I wouldn't, but people do that...

Worst movie. Well Uwe Boll comes to mind almost immediately but I'll think I'll spare him the knowledge of what he already knows.

Hmmmm. Titanic The Animated Film.

Rips off the James Cameron film along with Cinderella and introduces talking, singing animals including (AND I KID YOU NOT) a Rapping Dog.
Its not only the fact that it makes light of one of the worst tragedies of the 20th Century but the animation is abysmal and the voice cast is as weak as George Bush's Uni Diploma.

Not a pleasant film

Superbad is like one of my favourite films...

Anyway, the last movie I remember hating was... Four Christmases. What a complete steaming pile of poor quality excrement.

Bloodrayne or the Scary Movies after the first two.

I only recently started watching bad movies, and I think I set a too high(low?) standard by immediately watching an Uwe Boll movie(Bloodrayne). It's not like the acting was that bad, it was just the story.

I'd trust Uwe Boll to make a great horror movie, one of those old ones filled with loads of fake blood and gore but very little story. But he should be spanked and placed in the naughty corner whenever he tries to put any real story in it.

vampires are real; maybe not in physical form, but the lore and subculture are certainly there. i never actually used the word "butchered", thanks for putting words in my mouth, but in a sense, she did butcher the vampire, rather the idea of it- took a good thing, and rolled it in glitter. and yes, the sparkling thing is a big irk for me, before you ask.

Superbad was good until the 68th watching of it. Amen to the Raptors, but the majority of scifi channel made movie are bad.

Jason X was probably the worst thing I've seen.

Dead or Alive.

One of the very few movies I have actually stopped watching and started doing something else.

Chronicles of Riddick. I sat there for two hours wondering where the hell the plot was going. The music didn't make things any easier.
I loved that movie, the directors cut made more sense, but I loved it

OT: the return

A film called "Witchcraft". It has David Hasselhoff (commonly referred to as "The Hoff", "Hoffmeister", or "PipexSellOut") and some other unknowns. It is terrible. I suggest you watch it.

I could've sworn I posted in a topic about this a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, my memory isn't great, so the worst film I've seen most recently would be Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li. The only thing I liked in that film, were the locations, that's how bad I find the script and acting in that pile of tosh.

Vantage Point.
The best bit was where the president had crashed in an ambulance that had flipped 50m and was on it's roof, while not being strapped down and having a stretcher in the back with him, then the protagonist asks him "Mr President, are you okay?" (in the gruff American hero style) and he mumbles and groans.

I so nearly killed myself during it's length.

The worst most recent include Postal and Epic Movie...

However, that is a hard question, since there are a lot of B-movies that are worst than most "mainstream" ones but comparition seems unfair...
