Ohh I'm so shocked people are saying Twilight.
Gasp! So original.
It doesn't have to be original to be an opinion. However, I get what you mean.
OT: I can't remember all of the crappy flicks I've seen, but I recently watched a film called "Blood: The Last Vampire" (apparently it's based on an anime series) and it was really bad. In the "boss fight" scene it's like they didn't even bother to retake when the actors cocked things up. "I wirr grant you immortarity, sirry girrrr."

I have two forever imprinted in my memory as being the worst pieces of drivel my poor eyes have ever witnessed.

The first would be "Master of Disguise" with Dana Carvey. HEY! It's Garth from Wayne's World, it can't be bad right?!?

wrong.

The second one that is dead even in my book is Rubberface with Jim Carrey.

many of the people who don't like twilight have a legitimate reason for hating twilight, it's not that they're trying to fit in.

and is hating something revered by over half the population considered cool? i thought it'd make you an outsider... anyway, my reason? twilight sullied the good name of the vampire

-wesley snipes is a vampire (of sorts)
-david boreanz and james marsters are vampires
-richard roxburgh is vampire (if you don't know who he is, google him with your head hung in shame)
-richard pattinson ISN'T a vampire... he's a sad little englishman who stuck on some fangs, removed his testicles, and rolled in glue and glitter

i think my point is made... no offense to richard, i'm sure he's a lovely guy
I'm quite agreed on the Twilight hate; I think it's tragic that a relationship between a ridiculously perfect sparkly Action Man and his clingy stalker girl - a relationship that alternates between infuriatingly tedious and startlingly creepy - is being held up as this centuries Romeo and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet isn't even a romance anyway, but I digress). But I have to disagree on a couple of points in your vampire list.

Firstly, Robert Pattinson is pretty cool. He hates Edward as much as the most rabid anti-fan, saying such things as "it's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything... Plus, he's a 108-year-old virgin so he's obviously got some issues there." He even played the character as a self-detesting creep, and got paid for it .

Also, Richard Roxburgh? That awful ham from Van Helsing? Surely you jest. And you left out Christopher Lee.

Vantage Point. The entire objective in retelling cliched 'zomg the President has been shot!' and 'terrorism is bad!' stories from multiple points of view was to cause empathy for the bit players, the everyday civillians like the black camcorder man who contributed to something much greater. In this among other things it failed miserably. Additionally the box lies both about the number of viewpoints and that the final one is a 'jaw-dropping' plot twist. The final one doesn't do much except bring the chase scene to an anticlimactic end. This movie may have been a contributing factor to my drifting away from Tom Clancy books. There are likely more fictional depictions of the U.S. President by now than there are metric tons of food in Africa.

Dishonorable mention goes to Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and Wild Wild West. But then you would expect those two to be pure cheesey SFX-fests, and at least WWW's opening spiel was impressive.

Stardust (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486655/)

This movie contains everything that is wrong with fantasy movies, ever.
-main character is a poor, untalented shithead at the beginning of the movie. In the end he's a rich, noble, good-looking MAN.
-the movie is basically about him "proving his love" to this asshole of a woman by catching a star (i'm serious)

these are just some examples.

Ohhh lulz.
That was an awful movie. Though it served its purpose in grossing me out once or twice.
Apparently they made/ are making a 2nd one.. Why would they do that if the first was a major fail?
disney did that too with HSM.
At the risk of looking like a complete fool... what's HSM????
sorry, i made myself unclear. i just hate uttering those cursed words... High School Musical.

Not counting 'scifi' originals of course. I'd say 'wing commander' was pretty aweful but then again so was 'dungeons and ragons' which had Jeremey Irons slumming it as a half-elf villain. And two characters who DONT EVEN GET A NAME.
